Now that I have gotten past the sensation of it, I am filled with compassion for her.
She seems like a very sweet young woman who has been saddled with an awful burden.
From the sight of her, no I would not date her.
But after listening to her, I would take her to lunch and see how we got along and then, who knows?

I'm referring to facial hair, not leg or armpit hair. Facial hair (to this extent) on a woman in most cultures of the world would be considered grotesque.
But you're correct that leg hair and armpit hair are more acceptable in non-Western cultures.

No two bushes are the same in that regard. But one young woman, (although she was my senior by a few years at the time, she was not yet 30 y/o) had a madly delightful outcropping of hair such that for a while I preferred it to any other style.

See my response to christie. Cultural norms should be conformed to. If you choose to defy them, then you should expect condemnation.
This is even true in America now. The norm is becoming "wokeness." As much as Westerners like to pretend they are against pushing cultural norms, they have simply changed what they considered norms.
This is why I don't share most of my political views offline, because I know that my views do not fit what has become the Western norm.
However, even the woke West would consider a bearded woman grotesque in many areas.
