If you have a right to life, then you must have a right to defend that life. In order to do that you require access to the tools that let you defend your life. That means guns. Limiting law-abiding citizens' access to firearms is denying them their right to life. Countries that do well without guns only do so because their cultures support it. Without that cultural support they fall apart and have even more problems with guns than we do. Take off the blinders and actually look around. The U.S. homicide rate is below the world average and is one of the lowest in the Americas. Most countries with strict gun control have major problems with guns.
