Trump's flip flopping aside, that is how the President has always been elected. The president was never meant to be elected by popular choice. It's not a huge secret, it wasn't some unlawful tactic. It was our electoral system working exactly the way it was built to. I don't like Trump, didn't vote for him, wish he never won. But he did. Legitimately. Get the hell over it. Work with your party to formulate a campaign plan better than "well, we're better than the other guy" for 2020. That crap is why you lost the White House, the Senate, and the House to morons.

Working? It was a bribe to get the rural people to accept a centralized government, it's leaders, and it's laws. It was needed back in the day when we were developing as a country, but now it's a bane to the American way, and everything we are founded on.
