White Christian America ended in the 2010s

Unfortunately, the percentage of Whites is probably a lot smaller because the census doesn't count illegal immigrants, most of who are Mestizos. The census also counts everyone from North Africa and the Middle East as white, no matter what race they actually are.

I thought the new census was supposed to have a MENA (Middle East/North Africa) choice but apparently it needs more study.

The census does count illegal immigrants although it is difficult to get an accurate count. All states want all residents counted because it means more House seats and federal funding.

It might have at one point, I don't really know, but the 2020 census didn't include a question on citizenship. Though that doesn't necessarily mean they're not being counted. Like you said, it's difficult to get an accurate count. Especially since a lot of illegals don't speak English and are suspicious of things like the census, so they're less likely to fill them out.

The citizenship question does not affect the count which is to be an "actual enumeration."

Usually hundreds of lawsuits are filed by states and cities following the census claiming they were undercounted.

Yeah, and because illegals are less likely to fill out the census, I think the main racial group being undercounted is Mestizos.

Non-Hispanic whites will still be a plurality of the population until at least 2060. Census projections put them at 43.6% which is almost twice as large as the second most numerous group at 28.6%.

If you count all whites together (non-Hispanic + Hispanic) it will be 68.5% of the population.

A plurality is all that is needed to win elections for almost every office.

Doesn't answer the questions I asked.

Well, it kinda clarifies the implication on which the question was based.

You said: "Why is that a good thing? What will replace it?"

My point in citing the census data is that those changes cited in the OP are exaggerated, so there is nothing replacing it for many years. Also, the number of those over 65 will double by 2060 surpassing those under 18 by 2040.
