I have to admit that the idea of a liberal minister is hilarious, but from what I know of the matter (i.e. I don't know what went down on the other site), I have to take your side and say that Yurt and Co. are freaks and stalkers.

As far as we know, a WWM candidate never said that, but it was certainly implied by the fact that almost 200 years passed before anybody except a WWM was appointed to the SC.
