You don't hear this brother because anything "black" is easy to attack.
Opponents of AA don't want to talk about it because they don't deal in truth.
People who actually know the policy talk about it all the time .. and others who benefit from the program.
WOMEN COULD BE BIG LOSERS IF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION FALLS
(MONEY Magazine) – MEMO TO PRESIDENT CLINTON: While you and the rest of the Beltway bigwigs consider re-engineering affirmative action programs that favor minorities, the nation's 60 million working women might not cotton to the idea. Largely overlooked in the debate about "equal opportunity" vs. "preferential treatment" is that women, particularly white women, have been among the biggest beneficiaries of 30 years' worth of affirmative action. The average white woman now earns 78¢ for every dollar earned by a man, up from 63¢ in 1979.

Myth: Affirmative action is an African American entitlement program.
FACT: Affirmative action benefits a broad range of people and communities that continue to face discrimination in this country, including Latino, Native, Arab, Asian and African Americans. The primary beneficiaries, however, have been white women.
Contrary to popular belief, African Americans are not the sole, or even the primary, beneficiaries of affirmative action. Rather, a wide range of groups have benefited from these polocies which promote equality by directing resources, outreach and other opportunities to targeted underrepresented communities.
These groups include women, Native Americans, Arab Americans, Latino/as, Asian Americans, and African Americans.
Of these groups, the United States Department of Labor found that white women are the primary beneficiaries of affirmative action.
