To be accurate, the pilot of the helicopter was a white female with only 500 hours of flight time. That's literally just the minimum amount of time a normal pilot has to get to in order to take his test to become a solo pilot commercially. The crash was caused by an inexperienced woman allowed to fly the helicopter at night in a crowded airspace.

Trump didn't blame 'his enemies' or DEI for the crash.

Like any crash of this kind, several things had to line up to make it happen. Trump never blamed Democrats nor DEI for the crash.
* The airliner was on final approach to DCA, runway 33. They were on an instrument approach and were cleared to land.
* DCA is a busy airport, with aircraft landing or taking off almost continuously.
* A blackhawk helicopter, following the normal helicopter route flying along the Potomac, was on a training mission (a qualification flight). It was operating under VFR rules...see and avoid. They were in contact with ATC at the time of the crash.
* ATC warned the helicopter to be alert to traffic around DCA. That pilot acknowleged.
* A different ATC controller was handling the approach control position for DCA. He failed to issue a traffic warning for the helicopter to the airline pilot.
* ATC failed to issue a warning of the conflicting traffic to the helicopter.
* The helicopter pilot failed to visually scan for all traffic in and around DCA.
* The airliner DID have his landing lights on, and these lights were shining directly toward the helicopter. BOTH aircraft had their beacons on.

The helicopter collided with the airliner almost head on (about 20 degrees away from a 180 collision at most), with both aircraft disintegrating before they hit the water in the river below.

Being winter, with high winds, rescue operations were hampered by being in the river with ice in the vicinity of either wreck.

All aboard both aircraft were killed. There were no survivors.

The NTSB is conducting a review of the crash and will determine the exact set of causes leading up to the crash. This forensic examination will take approximately a year to complete. Trump will do everything he can to let the NTSB do their job.

Initial indications are an ATC failure, quite probably resulting in immediate decertification of both ATC operators involved. They will now have to deal with the investigations and the horrible reality that 60+ lives were lost under their control for the rest of their lives, regardless of whether they are found to be at fault or not by the NTSB.

It's necessary to understand what diversity IS for it to actually work...It's about the individual, embracing differneces, and appreciating them...everyone has a purpose, and that has to be evaluated...Which means that there is communication, flexible rules...mistakes taken into consideration...strengths and weaknesses evaluated...A person can't feel worthy if there's no atmosphere where there individual differences are appreciated...people aren't meant to be plugged into a situation just because a quota is desired...or they check a box....
(It also means you don't throw someone, particularly a family member away, because they differ politically from you...perhaps someday liberals/Democrats will get this...

Radical liberals are not likely to understand true diversity for all the reasons you state, as well as the fact that real diversity should never have anything to do with melanin levels. The best diversity in a workplace is diversity of thought. That's what will bring real growth and progress to any business. Liberals are scared of diversity of thought, it's not allowed. They all must believe their hive master's dogma that skin color charts, gender identity, and who or what they have sex with are now as important as skin tone and come before merit is even considered. As with everything else they chant, in their twisted beliefs they must ACT AS ONE. We've heard that little gem from every libtard mayor lately.

Exactly the reason that DEI programs are being eliminated...They never have actually been representative of diversity, equity, or inclusion...
Somehow "diversity" became racial quotas, "inclusion" is just language coding, and equity just unequal treatment of different "cultures"...
What happened to character and merit? It's going to make a comeback....
