While Ron Paul is leading in all polls for the Republican presidential race, he has created quite a buzz on the Internet. In fact, if Internet popularity had anything to do with the presidential race, a victory for Ron Paul may have been a long gone conclusion.

Los Angeles, CA (FV Newswire) - Not only is Ron Paul attracting Republicans and independents voters, but his stance on foreign affairs has really begun to attract some liberals. The latest to be drawn to his foreign policy are the TCOOO (Taking Care of Our Own) bloggers at www.rastatravel.com. However, they are not quite ready to be die hard Ron Paul supporters. At least not until Ron Paul can give a clear explanation of some alleged racist remarks that were printed in his newsletter over a decade ago.

Although Ron Paul has attributed such statements to a ghostwriter for his newsletter, TCOOO believes that he still owes the American people an explanation as nothing should have been printed in his newsletter that he did not approve of. They compare Ron Paul's explanation of the alleged racist remarks to the excuse given by Jennifer Lopez after she used the N word in a song and said she was not responsible because the song was written by fellow hip hop artist Jah Rule.

"I am not buying the ghostwriter story, that's some JLO type of excuse", said Vineyard of the TCOOO crew.

According to TCOOO who usually focus on issues affecting the Black community, they actually have a strong liking for Ron Paul and his polices. TCOOO's mission is to introduce what they believe are great Republican or independent candidates to the Black Community, which in turn they hope will force the Democratic Party to realize that the Black vote cannot and should not be taken for granted.

TCOOO not only blog at www.rastatravel.com but they also blog on the popular MySpace networking site at www.blog.myspace.com/tcooo. After each Republican debate, they blog about which candidates they found to be the most impressive and would like to see as the next leader of the United States. So far, in TCOOO's opinion, Ron Paul has been the most impressive of all the candidates, both on the Democratic and the Republican sides.

TCOOO said they have written to Ron Paul everywhere they can find him on the Internet including his MySpace profile but as yet to get a reply. They are hoping, however, that maybe in the next Republican debate Ron Paul will give a clear and concise explanation of the past alleged negative statements toward the Black Community.

FRAUD NUMBER TWO

In fact, if Internet popularity had anything to do with the presidential race, a victory for Ron Paul may have been a long gone conclusion.

If this were true, where is the money? Howard Dean raised MILLIONS on the internet and Obama has raised even more MILLIONS on the net than Dean. Paul has raised 2.3 million and all of that did not come from the net.

Hmmm... well, that's an interesting opinion there. I will give it thought.

THE CORPORATE GLOBAL BUSH ELITE OWN AMERICA

The corporaate global bush elite do own america, but ron paul doesn't serve them. Nothing in anything you presented supports the connection you implied. Do you think this shoddy posting is impressive or something?

Additionally, this site and group, TCOOO, is unknown and appears to have no more than 10 people blogging there. So far, they've refused to print my anti-Paul post and every post they have printed is the same bullshit denial of his comments. There is no denying what's in my post, which I suspect is why they haven't printed it.

It's laughable to think for a moment that Paul would be attractive to the African-American community by any stretch of the imagination.

You're wrong sir.

The neocon/corporate cabal is exactly who Ron Paul serves. He's a snake oil salesman and you have to look a bit deeper beyond the salespitch to understand what he's selling.

The corporate elite would run wild under Ron Paul. he'd remove all restrictions, regulations, and limits restricting the "free market" from doing whatever it wants. Who do you think the "free market" is? It's large multi-national corporations. Like all good snake oil salesman, you must call the poison something else. Here the "potion" is merely a euphemism for the same puppetmasters pulling Bush's strings.

There is nothing new in Paul's salespitch other than reframing the argument and shuffling the words around. It's a return to the time of 19th century robber barons in America .. only this time giving them more power and political influence than they've ever had. He's against all campaign finance restrictions and wants to circumvent the Supreme Court allowing lobbyists to write the law of the land.

There is a fundamental disconnect between an anti-corporation stance and support for the free market. You cannot be both. If you are truly going to stand up to the abuses of large multinationals, then you are talking about regulating the market. If you are going to let those multinationals continue without any checks to their power, you are at the very least unworthy of the anti-corporate populist mantel.

There would be one large difference, well first the reality is that such things wouldn't pass congress so saying, "Under Paul all this would happen!" is fear-mongering wasted energy.

Anyway, had he such power, corporate subsidies would also be non-existent, so the "neo-con" he supposedly serves would be very unhappy...

My brother .. you cannot be suggesting that the congress he's running against would be the protection that saves America from him. If that's the case .. why would we need him?

I never said that "under Paul all this would happen" because I know that he doesn't have the ability to make anything happen even if he were the president. A look at his vapid legislative record is a glaring demonstration that he doesn't know how to make things happen politically.

What I'm countering is AHZ's assertion that Paul does not serve the corporate elite. Yes he does. And I'm arguing the inconsistency of libertarian thought on corporations. You cannot be anti-corporate and for removing all limits, restrictions, and regulations on the "free market" both at the same time. It's illogical

Unleash the "free market" to do whatever they want to the American people and corporations won't need subsidies. Remove all campaign finance restrictions as Paul wants to do and corporations will simply buy the congress. Remove Supreme Court oversight from impending legislation as Paul wants to do and lobbyists will be writing the law of the land.

Whether he has the ability to accomplish his delusional myopic fantasy is not the point. These are the issues he's running on and what he believes.

Libertarians and Paul supporters want it both ways. They want Paul and libertarian thought discussed in a positive light but don't want any critique or scrutiny of what's under that light .. which is not what I'm suggesting that you're trying to do.
