Now, a related question: Why does it take some states WEEKS after an election to complete their counting while others can have their counting (essentially) completed within a single day? Do you see any issues with counting taking so long after an election to complete?

In 2020, millions of votes were added to the totals days after the election because that is the way the system works. (Trump did not have 70 million votes the day after the election.)
In 2016, millions of votes were added to the totals days after the election because that is the way the system works.
In 2012, millions of votes were added to the totals days after the election because that is the way the system works.
In 2008, millions of votes were added to the totals days after the election because that is the way the system works.
In 2004, millions of votes were added to the totals days after the election because that is the way the system works.
