Who Jewish Celebrities Have Endorsed for the 2024 Presidential Election

We fight, We win, Am Yisrael Chai
From Adam Brody to Carole King and Matisyahu, here's what famous Jews have to say about the historic election.

Mayim Bialik:

Actress and podcaster Mayim Bialik shared a quote from The Atlantic endorsement of Kamala Harris that she found particularly poignant: “Trump is the sphinx who stands in the way of America entering a more hopeful future. In Greek mythology, the sphinx killed every traveler who failed to answer her riddle, until Oedipus finally solved it, causing the monster’s demise. The answer to Trump lies in every American’s hands. Then he needs only to go away.”

I don’t care what Ms. Bailik (or any other celebrity…Jewish or otherwise) thinks about who we should vote for. She is a book smart lady who Blossomed into a good sitcom actress. I loved her in Big Bang Theory. Not so much as a Jeopardy host. As with all Americans she is entitled to her political opinion but it shouldn’t carry any more weight than that of Rachel Weinberg, a religious Jew (her words) who has been going door to door in Pennsylvania trying to convince people to vote for Donald Trump. While Jews usually vote for Democrats to the tune of about 67%, hopefully through the efforts of people like Ms. Weinberg enough can be whittled away from the Democratic stick to help swing the state of Pennsylvania for Trump. https://apnews.com/article/jewish-v...israel-hamas-f7096ebef4f67970e5c2eccbc1cb0b42

These are the Jewish folk I am interested in hearing about. But you got to read a lot of news, sludging through the opinions of the likes of Ms. Bailik and Taylor Swift to eventually find out about the Rachel Weinbergs. Their opinions and why they are going against the norm are of interest to me. It rarely gets the attention it deserves.

Oh, another thing I’ve found out by paying attention to the Jews this election (they’re not the only ethnic/religious group I have been investigating this year is that the more devoutly religious they are, they more apt they are to vote Republican. Go figure…🤔.

I really wish I could vote for someone decent like Rand Paul, or Trey Gowdy.

Why do we only get to choose the lesser of evils, rather than the better of goods?

Oh, that's right, The Democrats massive Vote Fraud machine, used in the primaries...

I don’t know about vote fraud but I certainly echo your sentiments in the first two lines.

Who Cares?

I'll think for myself! Thank you!

-
The hell you do! If you applied 1/8 of cognitive reasoning and critical thinking to the blatantly displayed christo-fascist crap coming out of the mouths of the MAGA GOP, you would NOT vote against your own better interest, let alone that of the women in your life (family and otherwise).

Bottom line: Both party candidates are going to continue to supply Netanyahu's Likund with all the munitions and money necessary while posturing a call for "peace" and a "negotiated" solution. The difference is that the Dems don't have leadership that slanders any and all Americans of middle Eastern descent and/or muslims.

The women in my life are anti-abortion, and keep their legs closed until ready for a family. I'm happy about that, though it isn't my place to tell them how to live. (I am shocked at the hints of other things they do, to please the men in their lives, but again not my business.) I raised my daughters / grand daughters to think for themselves, and they do. They don't hesitate to tell me I am way too liberal. My Hispanic wife is the most conservative and catholic of all, and I don't ever criticizer her choices, after all she chose me.

Anyone who believes that Jews typically vote Dem, knows little about Jews.

In this election, both Jews and Muslims have a hard on for Biden/Harris. Muslims will live to regret that if trump gets elected.

LOL@ 'book smart'

Education
Bialik earned a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and Hebrew and Jewish studies from UCLA in 2000. She then went on to earn her Ph.D. in neuroscience from UCLA in 2007. Her dissertation focused on obsessive-compulsive disorder in adolescents with Prader-Willi syndrome

If she doesn't know trump...nobody does.

Deconstructing Chriso-fascist/MAGA bullshit line for line:
1. Newsflash, bunky. Women who are married and WANT to have kids but have dire complications that require and abortion CANNOT GET IT IN SOME RED STATES. Women have been irreparably damaged or have DIED because of the draconian state laws unleashed by the repeal of Roe vs. Wade. Capice?

2. Yet you nearly orgasmed when the Orange Oaf stacked the SCOTUS to repeal Roe v. Wade. And dullards like you could care less if a woman who leaves a state to have an abortion is arrested along with anyone who assisted her when she goes home. Nor do you care about doctors and hospitals literally sending patients away until they become critical because they are afraid of losing their licenses. You're just full of it.

3. Curious....are they voting for the Dump/Little Dump ticket? Are they cool with dear old dad supporting the crap I mention in #1 and #2?

4. Bull-Fucking-Shit!

5. Curious....is she voting for the Dump/Little Dump ticket (especially with what went down at Madison Square Garden in NY)? Is she cool with you supporting the crap I mention in #1 and #2?

Who in their right mind would vote for Harris? Yuck! She is even more repulsive than Trump!

-

Why is she more repulsive? Is it because she's way behind him on rapes? Is it because she didn't cheat on Doug with a sex worker without protection while Doug was home taking care of their latest baby? Is she repulsive because she was born with a horrible birth defect like a vagina? Is she repulsive because she doesn't quote Hitler enough?

I really believe they vote for Democrats in recent elections at about a 60%-70% rate. I read that in some of my research. I’d have to look up where though.

I use the term “book smart” a lot. A lot of people have degrees in a lot of things but that doesn’t equate to being a smart person, IMO. I mean, I have a masters in Math Education but many have/will question my intellect.

But I really appreciate the efforts of actors and actresses to pursue higher ed. My favorite, being a Math person, Is Danica Mckellar. She has written some very good books as well which I have recommended to younger math teachers.

More like what some more Hollyweird celebrities have to say about it. Interesting how the rich tend to back Harris when she says she's going to tax the snot out of them...

My bet, if Harris does win the only people to end up being taxed are the Middle Class.

This ' Jewish ' celebrity doesn't care WHO wins- but, in terms of bomb shipments, he'd prefer it was the rich fascist guy ;

You are describing my sister, so I know what you mean. There are quite a few people who either go back to college, or simply stay in school because it's easier than joining the real world. I just had this discussion the other day. I couldn't wait to get out of school, but many love the lifestyle. They just parrot what they have been 'taught' on command, and life is pretty easy.

Re. Jews:
Historically, many vote Republican because the Right tends to be pro military and by default pro Israel. The number one issue for Jews who are strict practitioners is Israel. You saw trump pander to Israel while POTUS solely for political gain.

Granted...as we see with the Latino/Latina community, gender demographics, and age demographics, the Jewish voter is not homogenous. There are many Liberal Jews, and at best I would say the split is 50/50.

In fact, I'm doing a lot of work for Hasidic Jews who are the most religious. They don't have bumper stickers or lawn signs, and we don't typically discuss politics. But if you check the voting in Bklyn NY you would get a good idea of how they vote.

Then there are the Orthodox Jews who dress the same as others, but observe the dietary and social requirements. My family was this way, although pretty lax over the years. My father was a staunch Republican. Right now I'm doing half a dozen jobs for this sect, and every time I go to their houses Fox News is on.

Again...I still say the breakdown is about 50/50 with the less religious leaning Left.

I don't think you know who you are talking to. @Kurmugeon is no MAGA member although he will support Trump over Commiela in an instant.

I am a 30+ year Registered Blue-Dog Democrat in a Red-ish County of a Deep-Blue Border state small town of 108K Citizens, 8K Obama Muslim Asylum people on the Dole, and 12K recent Biden/Harris Illegal Immigrants who are also on the Dole. One is six people here are hostile, intolerant, foreign born people living on the government dole.

I am married to a Middle Class, Working, Hispanic woman, who is a Registered Republican and she is actually close to being a maga-member. She doesn't own a Red-Maga Hat, but does have several Tee Shirts that are more or less the same. As a White-Male, if I wore a red-maga-hat in public, I'd be beaten to death. But she is a Hispanic Grandma, and in Catholic Hispanic Culture, the men are machismo, but the society is ruled by the unofficial, Council-of-Grandmothers. Catholic Hispanic Culture is very Matriarchal.

I am a Straight-White-Male, in a state with over half of the population being Hispanics. We have only 4% Blacks, the lowest of any state in the nation. The old-wealth Hispanics and Native Americans, here own all of the Ranches, Farms, Factories, and Mines. That's not wrong or anything, but Hispanics still get all the AA benefits for College and Scholarships.

We are a designated-Minority Majority State. IAW, those who might be a Minority of the Population in other states, are actually the majority here. And they own all the important stuff.

I initially Registered to Vote as a Democrat, because here, if you're a Straight-White-Male, and not a Democrat, you will never get a JOB! That's the first thing they check when reviewing your resume.

I haven't voluntarily voted for a Democrat Candidate, in 30 years, if there was any other option. But, here, the GOP often doesn't field any candidate for most offices, and in the General Election, to vote at all, you have to fill in all the bubbles, so you end up voting for Democrats, or the Dominion Machine rejects your ballot.

And, in the Democratic Primary, the person who is going to be sitting in the office is selected. So, If you are a Registered Democrat, you get the chance to select the least destructive of the Democrat Candidates.

Hence, I am a Registered Democrat, but never vote for them, when I get the choice.
