Maybe so if you accept Populist (liberal) economic policies: raising the deficit from $400 billion to $1 trillion, imposed tariffs (government intervention in the economy that hurt as many businesses as it helped).

I thought Trump was much too liberal on economics. If he was going to cut taxes he should have cut spending an equal amount.

Several have done better on the economy measured by jobs created, GDP growth, unemployment rate, deficit reduction.

Outside of the economy the other accomplishments depend on whether you consider something desirable or not.

My biggest criticism is his behavior following the election refusing to accept the results and the peaceful transfer of power.

About all of them--Obama and Clinton both had better economic records and Bush until the 2008 recession hit.

Check GDP, unemployment rate, deficit/debt, job growth.....

I don't give credit or blame to presidents for most of the economy. Economic conservatives believe government should stay out of the economy---let capitalism do its job and not screw it up with tariffs.

China doesn't innovate, only copies. Taiwan innovates, or did. China will destroy all that.

Deregulate
Let the market work
Encourage domestic production across the board
Not get tangled up in foreign wars
Oppose the Social-Welfare state
Not accept Leftist nonsense like "wokeness."

What the Republicans need is a guy that will do what Trump did without being the galaxy sized asshole Trump is.

Trump was last in GDP growth, job growth, unemployment, and increased the debt 33%

Tariffs are liberal attempts to regulate the economy which backfired when we had to give billions to farmers when China boycotted our agricultural products. Stand up for free-market capitalism.

Tariffs were regulations interfering in the free market. He increased welfare state spending like every other president and added more social welfare spending with the stimulus checks and child tax credit. Also, Republicans supposedly oppose increasing debt and deficits.
