Business needs 'Consumers'. To consume (buy) stuff. Laid off Workers will be getting checks ... so they can pay their Mortgages, ... pay their Car Notes, ... and pay their Credit Cards.
Andrew Yang is correct with his 'Universal Basic Income', but too early for the average American to grasp ... along with the Business Community.
