Hi. I thought you were gone forever. I put up a thread I think last week? I hadn't been here in a while, and I wanted to see if you had seen Star Trek, and what you thought of it. (I loved it!). Not that I want to hijack this thread, at all.

Hey! I didn't even see your thread. I went cold turkey until today - didn't even look at the board. I really needed the break, and your departure way back whenever kind of inspired me. It was actually kinda nice, but this board is a little like crack.

I friggin' LOVED the new Trek. The characters were all perfect (the guy they got to play Bones couldn't have been better). Great plot & action, and how cool was the Nimoy cameo? Plus, the young Uhura was completely smokin', even for us metro's. All in all, a very enthusiastic thumbs up; I hope they keep it going...

It is a little like crack!

I felt the same way about the movie, I never thought it was going to be that good. I hadn't heard about the Uhura/Spock romance ahead of time, so it was a great twist, and I loved it. I thought it was so hot. I loved Kirk and Bones and all of them. I kind of wish that they had made it into a new series.

There is nothing sad about loving Star Trek. Try not to fly into another one of your jealous rages, we all know that Onceler has that effect on you. He does have a certain panache that you are sadly lacking?
 
how does a person cost anyone anything if they do not seek medical help? I simply can not afford to see doctors until I have no other choice. I pay for all my own bills, so how the fuck do I cost you or anyone else anything?

Wow, that's got to be one of the most retarded things ever said on this board -- specially since a link to the article that explains it is right at the top of the thread.

An exercise for the intellectually incurious - ask a question you could answer yourself if you read a little.
 
just because some article makes an assertion doesn't make it true.

and if I pay for my treatments there's no possible way i've cost you anything
