Well no, according to me people are responsible for their choices. A person can go to church every week and still make a bad choice.

Good choices and bad choices are still just that, a choice. Nobody can make you do something, you always have the choice. Church is a great place to learn and worship, but when you leave it’s up to you to live as God intended.

No not at all. They mean a lot, however your circumstances also don’t define you. Being abused as a child does not mean you must choose murder one day. You could choose love over anger.

These people murdering others through these shootings here are adults. A small child who is still developing can be influenced or pressured into doing things that they may not know are wrong or that could result in their death. If you are asking about good heart vs bad heart then that’s a different conversation. A person that knows and loves Jesus and has a good heart knows that their choices are a reflection upon themselves and don’t look for blame when they stray. If He is in your heart then chances are your choices will reflect that. Being angry enough to murder people because of a politicians rhetoric is not an excuse for mass murder.

The abuser is absolutely in the wrong for their crimes and actions, however using the abuser as the reason for your bad actions is an excuse.
