Why are liberals afraid to answer this question?

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
I have asked serveral people and some people several times, the same question; but instead of answering it, they have posted responses that have nothing to do with the question.

There are those that have been pushing for extended back ground checks; but they have yet to show how it's going to change anything.

So I decided to ask the question, in a new thread, so that it would reach more liberals then the ones I've already asked and hopefully one of them will be able to give an honest answer.

The question is:

"How are increased background checks going to stop "murderers, felons and wife beaters" from getting guns, that are already illegal for them to have?"

I anxiously await an answer.
 
They don't want to stop those people. Their hope is that law abiding people will cease to buy guns and that this will reduce the possibility that a straw purchase will take place and someone who is otherwise unable to get a gun will not be able to get one that way.

Who said it was going to stop it? Should we repeal DUI laws because some people still drive drunk? Should we get rid if speed limits because people still speed?

Like another poster said...it will make it more difficult for them to get. They with have to rely on truly illegal activity to get weapons instead of the "wink, wink/nudge, nudge" environment we have now.
If that means I have to fill out an extra form for my next purchase? Big fucking deal.
 
I see Grind's BFF Howey is responding; but since Howey's BFF Grind has place me on 1/2 of a forced ignore, I can't see them.

It's a shame because he might actually be saying something important, instead of his usual accusations of someone being a perv and such.

The "murderers, felons and wife beaters" are already having to buy then illegally, so how is this going to stop them?
What is going to be put into place that's going that's going to specifically make it harder for them to illegally acquire a firearm?

Why is this so hard to answer, unless this is just a feel good situation and there is no answer?

I answered this question MORE than once on the previous thread. You are too fucking stupid to read and comprehend. Have an adult help you pea brain...

As citizens, we can't stop a criminal from buying an illegal firearm from the trunk of another criminal in some dark alley.

But, that's where the criminal should be forced to buy a gun. In a totally illegal setting, with all the inherent dangers that come with it. BUT, our current laws sanction criminals being able to walk into a gun show, receive expert advice, discounts, then buy whatever weapon(s) they desire without a background check or having to pay black market prices or risk the dangers of buying a weapon from another criminal in a dark alley.

SOLUTION: CLOSE THE GUN SHOW LOOPHOLE

TRANSLATION: that thing that Howey posted has too many big words and not enough pictures and no YouTube videos and what I did read I didn't understand so I'm sure it didn't answer my question. Oh-well. :)

Please educate yourself on what the phrase "loophole" means; because every time you parrot the liberal talking point, it makes you look stupid.

Not sure how you arrived at that conclusion, except that you probably have no clue as to what 1/2 of a forced ignore entails; but then liberals have never let their lack of knowledge ever stop them from attempting to appear intelligent. :)

Thats bullshit and a non-answer.....felons and criminals have to get their weapons illegally now.....we have back round checks now

what does expanded mean anyway.....EVERYONE thats buys a gun has to endure a backround check.....just wtf does 'expanded' mean in reality.....

Exactly how will it make it any harder for a criminal to get a gun....he can't buy one legally and goes through no backround check as it is TODAY....

You answered nothing in any realistic sense......gun shows cannot just give a gun to anybody with the money legally....not in my state anyway....

you have to go to a gun dealer that acts as a middle man to the sale.....WITH a normal regular backround screening....

It thats what is meant by 'expanded' then I'm all for it.....or does it mean something else.

Because when they are caught they will go straight to prison where they will not be bothering anyone for along time.
 
I swear to God, you guys who are bitching the most about a fucking form to fill out are hiding something....I'm beginning to think that I'm not too far off base with my comment to NOVA.

Either that, or you can't pass a background check. I live in rural Pennsylvania...where the GOP outnumbers Dems 3:1...and I've only heard a couple of people bitching about this...at bars, at the Sportsman Club where I shoot, and at work.

You guys are either batshit crazy or are the people that this is aimed at.

Either way...you aren't normal everyday Joes.
