Why are Republican presidential candidates so unpopular?

These are the percentages of the popular vote they have gained so far this century:

.............R........D
2000....47.9....48.4 (Dubya elected)
2004....50.7....48.3 (a red letter year! Dubya wins a majority)
2008....45.65...52.9 (some other guy elected)
2012....47.2....51.1 (again)
2016....46.1....48.2 (Trump elected)
2020....46.9....51.3 (Trump ejected, cussing)

Presidential candidates don’t have to win a majority or even a plurality of the popular vote, of course, because (we are told) America is not a democracy. Just as well for the GOP, isn’t it?

Well it's not a democracy and you can stick your fingers in your ears and scream "la la la la la la" all you like it's still not a democracy no matter how long you do it.

The two least popular Presidents since WW 2 are in order: Harry Truman and Joke Biden. Biden appears to be well on his way to being less popular than Truman too...

a bunch of young and moronic college graduates with liberal arts degrees are too stupid to think for themselves, so they listen to a bunch of other moronic liberals throw out false labels of racism and hitler and they swallow it like brand new porn starlets in their first xxx feature

"We want democracy to survive for all generations to come, not to become the insolvent phantom of tomorrow” – Eisenhower.

“Democracy is worth dying for, because it's the most deeply honorable form of government ever devised by man” – Reagan.

“Well it’s not a democracy” – Yakuda.

The first two must have been Rinos.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the democracy for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all".

Uh, look at the polling, Biden is more popular than The defeated one.

OK then the Defeated president on the list.

the list shows how the electoral college works.......is it our fault if the demmycrats, after 250 years, still don't understand how to win elections in this country?......getting 100% of the vote in California and New York will not help you......

It will help more than getting 49%.
