Why are the majority of mass shooters

I don't know, G.

But this is who and what we are.
Why is it so hard to accept the obvious?

The entire world sees Americans as the people with guns who routinely shoot one another.
We have a few people among our own who find this repugnant,
and they speak up a lot to sound as if they are greater in number than they are.

Most of us, however, are armed killers by nature and spend our lives suppressing it if we can.
The ones who aren't by nature are trained by the government to become such whenever we decide to have a military draft
as was the case when I was young.

If people are born in a shooting gallery, the ones who get to grow up at all grow up to be shooters.
Some people have problems accepting the truth about themselves, especially where it comes to being born an armed and dangerous American.
I've learned to live with it.

Another millennial. What the hell do they teach these kids in school, or don't teach them?
When I was that age, I could buy any gun I wanted without a background check and none
of this shit was happening. We took guns to school and left them in unlocked cars and they
were legally ours, we knew better than to shoot people. What has changed?

They're shooting the school. I wonder why.

You remember what happened right after the Stoneman-Douglas shooting? Didn't a teacher berate a student on twatter for not toeing the line? I wonder why kids are pissed off today.

Back in my day everything was cool, I guess not today though.

Another millennial.

A lot of the mass shooters/terrorists are in their 50's and 60's. It seems like a time that you would calm down in life, but they are revving up. I really do not understand it.

Actually, RB here meets the profile nearly exactly. Maybe RB can explain to us where the anger comes from?

Lie!

Cruz had severe psychological problems, and had just become an orphan. He was semi-homeless. His social accounts were full of support of trump, and threats to harm others.

Somehow I doubt that "everything was cool" back in your day, but it does seem to be getting worse.

Trump! Trump! Trump! Trump! Trump! Trump! Trump! Trump! Trump!

Stephen Paddock was 64, when he killed 59 people in Las Vegas. Anthony Warner was 63 when he did the Nashville Bombing.

Most mass killers are in their 20's, but there has been a rise in the number in their 50's and 60's. These are ages that I would expect people to have already done their killing, or to be too old to kill. I really do not know what is happening here. It is part of the American culture completely unconnected to me.

You just contradicted yourself :palm:
