Why are there no prosecutions?

In case you haven't noticed, Trump lies a lot.
It seems that Jarod thinks that he hasn't this time. You should talk to him.

Personally, I think that he's keeping another promise. The one he made just after swearing into the office for the second time.

Look. I don't like speaking well about Trump, it makes my skin crawl a bit, but y'all make it almost impossible not to... brainlessly repeating nonsense that is demonstrably untrue.

You should stick to the Tariff attacks, those are something I can get behind. I do not like Tariffs.

But he said they are criminals... He indicated he would prosecute them.

Especially the General.

I am not saying he should, but its very convenient not to have to prove the lies, and keep them going.

So Biden can murder people?
Please define political prosecution. You cannot seem to understand a difference between what the man said, that he would not use the office to attack opponents politically, and deliberate murder so I need to know what you think it means so we can go forward in this conversation.

He claimed all kinds of crimes occurred, but rarely defined the crime. It got his base all riled up. Very irresponsible to do that especially when its not true.

You have still not answered the question.

Please define political prosecution so we can work with what your brain thinks is political prosecution.

I'll give some examples:

1. Hillary is brought on charges for releasing compartmentalized material on her email server during her tenure as Sec of State.
2. Hillary kills someone on live TV tomorrow and is brought on charges for murder.

Which of those might be political prosecution?

What he promised is what I quoted. What he said during the campaign was "it could" and "I would have every right to" but neither of those are promises.

So some crimes, that if true could likely have killed people are not okay to prosecute, but others are?

Political prosecutions are ones where the crime was made up for political purposes.

Seriously why isn’t the justice department not doing their job? Hillary, Biden and General Mille should have been arrested by now?
I guess for the same reason you dickheads claimed for years that trump was an existential threat to democracy but just let me take control of the govt. Shithead

Think of tariffs as a weapon to force other countries to treat us fairly. The US has been taken advantage of for years by Canada, India, the EU and many countries for years. These countries are going to be resistant to changing their ways. The US is the largest consumer market in the world. Trump has correctly decided that to level the playing field tariffs are needed.

So start a thread on Tariffs and how bad The Felon's actions are for America.

He is. He gave an Australian top secret info on our ships.
And you miserable cockroaches did nothing to stop him from taking office. You tried the assassination route but you fucked that up. You just let him take over. You're a useless piece of garbage.

Trump has directed his AG not to use the AG appointment to go after political opponents, just as he said he would he has ended the partisan direction it had been taking.

Hey... Let's see what he said in his Inaugural Address:

"Never again will the immense power of the state be weaponized to persecute political opponents… We will not allow that to happen. It will not happen again."

Hmm... Maybe he's keeping another promise. I know during the campaign he would say things like "Maybe it should happen to them" when talking about "lawfare" (political prosecutions) and that he "would have every right" to do such. However, the only time he said what he would do is during that speech. 'Never again'...

You can tell HillBillary that she doesn't have anything to worry about.
using the power of government to convict criminals is not going after political opponents.
:evilnod:

Do attorneys at the DOJ count? They aren’t being prosecuted, but they are being fired for just doing their jobs.

“Over eight minutes, she described a scorched-earth effort currently underway to purge the 115,000-employee Justice Department of any staffers involved in investigating Trump during or after his first term in office and other perceived enemies of the president.

“Well, first and foremost, we got rid of the Jack Smith team. Gone. Those people are gone,” Bondi said. “We're still trying to find … a lot of people in the FBI and also in the Department of Justice who despise Donald Trump, despise us, don't want to be there.”

Who knows what comes after this purge!
