Also you don't even need to look any further than the threads in this forum to the hate being spewed from conservative posters against the Parkland Students.

The kids are hated because they are getting traction with moderates who have sided with the gun nuts in the past.
I hear panic in the voices of gun nuts who fear their insane play toys may become restricted and controlled in the name of sanity.

Hyperbole much? You are quite wrong. For instance, I often disagree with you but I certainly don't hate you. I don't even dislike you except when you stoop to name-calling which is beneath you.

As far as the left "using" these kids for some imaginary agenda, here's some info for you. I constantly receive begging emails from various "leftist" sources -- elected ppl's campaigns, various organizations, media outlets, and so on. I have yet to receive a single begging email trying to solicit money for any groups or activities related to the Parkland students. Not. One. Single. One. Not even one asking for money to take out the NRA. I find this extraordinary, given that whenever some new cause arises (Trump is a huge one in all senses of that word), they're quick to jump on the solicitation bandwagon and try to score $$ off of it. For instance, several times/week (sometimes even daily) I receive emails about "Stop Trump's ____ Agenda!" and so forth. I'm sure that if you have ever donated to any RW cause you're probably getting similar appeals.

My husband sometimes asks me why I find political discussion forums so interesting. This is why. I avoid hyper partisan media from both sides. This place allows me to see what is being fed to the RWNJs, which they then dutifully vomit back up here.
