Why did Donald Trump switch parties?

Political parties are just special interest authoritarians dripping from their lips lusting for power over the masses to socially engineer them to obey the dictates of the special interest. They're the scourge & scum of the earth.

TRUE, BUT, Republicans are a far lesser scourge and scum than the Democratic Party of the Jackass. Also, the ONLY party over the last five decades to have actually passed a BALANCED Budget.

Like yourself, Trump has the charisma of a turd in a punch bowl.

Hating the diseased orangutan in the Oval Office with a flaming passion is the minimal requirement for being a sane human being.

Promoting hate against anybody is not the sign of a mentally healthy individual.

I never paid attention to politics so I didn't know or care what his affiliation was. Then I read that he was a longtime Democrat but switched to Republican recently. Why? Could this be a reason Democrats hate him so much?

He switched because Conservatives generally care about personality more than issues. That's not to say some Liberals aren't the same way, but it's far more common among Conservatives.

Well the dems already had their winner, the heir apparent, there was no room for him........

After Romney & McCain failed & they only had losers like cruz &/or another bush to choose, the time was right...

The tea baggers had dummied down many & really what was hillary offering the pO' wht middle to lower classes?? Not much really...

Trump really got so lucky. The Right was already degenerating badly during the Obama years, Hillary was unelectable after Sanders exposed her, and the anti-white SJW cucks were driving people to support whoever pissed them off the most. Trump was just in the right place at the right time.

Yep...........

The only thing that matters is the fact that Trump is a Capitalist and knows how to kickstart an economy via removing the obstacles that were slowing this republic to the point of recession. THE US has needed someone from the private sector for decades, someone that actually has experience in the ways and means of Capitalistic success.

I especially enjoy watching him :mun: (big orange ass) the socialists at every turn. The reason that Donald J. Trump won? Its not rocket science.....people vote with their wallets. That's the reason the democrats want to keep the poor and minorities poor.....they place them on the government dole in order to purchase their votes with tax payer money. The democrat party used to be the party of the working stiff....now it has morphed into the party of the "mail box daddies".....people who make a living from government handouts. When Hillary labeled the blue collar workers of America....DEPLORABLES.....they simply told her to go to hell.

NO; the reason Democrats hate Donald so much is that he embarrassed them by winning when they were absolutely, positively sure Hillary had it in the bag.

The media hate Donald because he had the gall to shove their stupidity and lies back into their faces and call them out.

I wasn't so sure. I thought Trump had the edge because of the economy and the war and the decay of our Federal support system during Obama's administration. Hillary seemed like she could've won but it was very apparent as the tallies came in that Trump was going to win.

Because people in NYC know trump's history and they know his con , the people in flyover country are less educated were the perfect marks for him and they happen to be republicans

We needed someone from the East Coast. That he is from New York makes New Yorkers happy even if he is with the opposing party.

No. Trump once joined the Reform party for awhile, but other than that has always been a Republican.

Incorrect. Trump was a Democrat prior to 1987, and again from 2001-2009. He was Reform Party from 1997-2001, and an independent from 2010-2011. He voted for Carter and Mondale, before, presumably, voting for Bush. He gave Carter and Mondale maximum campaign contributions. Later on, he became friends with the Clintons, and donated to Hillary's senate campaign.

That's another thing. Donald Trump is the first president that wasn't previously employed in a government position.

Ceded. However, once he became a Republican, he never went back to the Democrats again.

Liberals are hustlers. If they want a quick ho it's all about the sex, doesn't matter where they come from. Conservatives are usually married and if they want to get into business with someone they know getting along is more important than petty differences. Conservatives know they can can smooth out bumps with the right people.

Liberals are like hollywood movie makers. Conservatives are like grocery store owners. Not much comparison except they both deal with large numbers of people.

You don't want the movie maker running the grocery store do you?

Trump won because he had an American message that resounded with the people that mattered. The liberal left still haven't figured that one out and think their message should be "BUT TRUMP!!"

Meanwhile, Immigration is the highest polled issue on American minds and the economy which is booming. It makes predicting 2020 a little easier. TRUMP.
