Why didn't the OJ Simpson verdict...

And if Trayvon hadn't made the thugish decision to confront Zimmerman, after losing him, and then assaulting him; Trayvon might still be alive.
Trayvon bears part of the responsibility as why he is dead.

you don't know if trayvon contronted zimmerman...you're being just like a liberal about this

Trayvon percipitated it.
You want to look at the entire situation as one fluid motion and it's not.
Trayvon was able to do what he wanted and that was to get away from Zimmerman.
At that point a new chapter started and it's the one that Trayvon wrote.

Zimmerman isn't and wasn't responsible for Trayvon.

According to Zimmerman's word and nothing else...you know, people do minimize or flat out lie to keep from going to jail.

But that's beside the point....NW Protocol is to observe and report. The "entire situation" was one fluid motion....we are talking about what? 4-5 minutes of time? It's only a "new chapter" because that's the way you prefer to see it. Why is that? Why are so few of you so willing to even consider the idea that George went too far?

OJ has everything to do with this. in one case, you have a black man who is on trial for murdering two people and the evidence heavily shows his guilt...on the other thand, you have an hispanic on trial for murdering one person and the evidence heavily indicates his innocence.

you, nor jesse or al....are upset about the OJ verdict. no protests over the fact two people were killed....nope...but now that one person is killed....we need NATIONAL protests.

why the difference? were the two lives of less value than this one life?

No....you are trying to simplify this by race alone...hence it's a strawman. Two different cases, two different circumstances. Like I said....I accept the verdict...and I don't think the DOJ should get involved, as there is no solid proof of race being the reason for this.

But I do believe it was a wrongful death and TM's family ought to pursue a civil suit.

actually, YOU are the one who keeps making this about race. not me. you can't even answer my questions, so you make things up and cry that i'm trying to simplify the two cases by race alone. never did that. i am honestly interested in the dichotomy between the two cases. both had our national attention, both were about murder....yet the reaction from the left is vastly different. and you can't even explain why.

TM's family may very well win a WD case against zimmerman. that has zero to do with this thread. can you focus?

Was the crime Simpson accused racial in nature? No....it was a "my wife/ ex-wife is fucking around on me, so....if I can't have her, no one can" type of crime.

I seem to remember that a large aspect of the trial was about the racist nature of the LAPD, or did you miss that?

There is no dichotomy...there is no SIMILARITY between these two cases....other than that a person of one race killed a person(s) of another race.

Wtf? I watched a lot of the trial on Court TV....I don't recall a racial aspect of that...oh...wait...Fuhrman....yeah....OK...I do remember that...that he planted the gloves or something....nevermind.

They basically had no case but OJ lawyers were able to use race as a trump card in lieu of a defence for the actual crime. Defence lawyer Johnnie Cochran alluded to an institutional racism which the jury had the power to redress.

wait a minute....the vast majority of america believes OJ is guilty of the murders....yet...neither you, jesse or al...give a shit that zimmerman was found to be not guilty...in fact...they have called for nationwide protests....why did they not do the same in the OJ case?

answer the question or stay out of this thread

I only answered it four or five times now....you just don't like the answer.

Apparently you don't agree with our Judicial system; but that's the way it works.
If there is no testimony or evidence to counter what the defendent says, then we have to consider him innocent.
People also minimize and flat out lie, in an attempt to make it appear that they're correct, which is exactly what the left has been and continue to do.

Why are so few of you, the left, unwilling to even consider that Trayvon was and is the aggressor here?

Why do you say that? I've said at least 10x that I'm fine with the verdict....you guys seem to ignore that....there wasn't enough evidence to convict or to counter GZ's account.

However, IMO....Zimmerman was the adult....the neighborhood.watch coordinator. He knew the parameters and limits of that role. TM was a teenager who did nothing wrong up until the confrontation.....but you guys think that doesn't matter.

No one did anything wrong, until Trayvon made the decision to confront and then assault Zimmerman

Keep telling yourself that....after all, you were there, right? How come you didn't come forward with this information and save the citizens the cost of a trial?

Why didn't you come forward with all the information you THOUGHT you had?
OH-WAIT; the outcome would have been the same, HUH!
