"Why do you need an AR-15"

So my nephew, 23 years old, who's staying at our house while he's completing his training for his new job; asked me :Why do I need and AR-15"?

I told him, I don't need anything but Food, Water and Air to breath.

Having an AR-15 is a want for me.

Then said, people say it's their Right to own an AR-15.

I told him, they're full of shit.

I can live comfortably for the rest of my life without owning a AR-15;
My 30-06, 12 gauge, .45, .357 and 9mm, more than satisfies any need to own a firearm.

The same reason I own an AR-15 is the same reason I own a Corvette ... I Fucking wanted one.

I also told him, I'm sure Al Capone thought he had a right to own as many Tommy-Guns as he wanted, but the Supreme Court thought different.

NO ONE NEEDS AN AR-15 ... need has nothing to do with it.

Lastly ... I told him to stay the Fuck away from my Guns, don't even look at my safe or ask me to touch one; now go git me a Beer. ;)

That's what I thought AR-15s and Corvettes are for men with issues
 
I own the AR15 because you can never tell what the future will bring and the ar15 will handle just
about whatever comes as far as I'm concerned. Plus I just like it and I like to customize them

If you are a person that doesn't like me owning a AR15 fuk you, it's none of your business and if
you think I'll give it up because some crazy mental cases use it to kill people, you're also dreaming.

The greatest amount of illegal guns are in the getto all across this country in every state how
successful has the police been dealing with that. so you want the law abiding citizens to give up
their legal guns then who will have guns, you bet you the bad guys then where will we be. huh

One thing about the Future ... there will be something Bigger, Badder and more Deadlier ....

I like the new AR that's chambered in .45 ACP
 
there's alot of people on here sounding very envious of brave men and women, so much so that they have to denounce the AR15, but hey..........you can always find some courage. it's not too late.

Myself, I'd never own a Corvette, but that's me. I prefer other sports cars.
I don't own an AR, but do own actual military issued weapons.
As for the thinking and action, I agree it is always best to do
one before the other, but he's made it clear he can't do either.

I don't know what people think the AR is some super self defence weapon ... it's just another riffle to me.

I kinda like Grouping 9mm or .45 on a target ... and no one CCW a AR anyway.

Mine comes out once or twice a month for the range, my 9mm goes with me everyday
 
You never know when your home will be attacked by marauding motorcycle gangs, who do not care if they get shot. You shoot a bunch and they just keep on coming. I have seen the movies. And drug armies don't care if they die either. Nearly every day you have to mow down a few to get to McDoanalds.

I don't either. With the exception of my 1911, the others are strictly target guns.
Although I have many handguns, I prefer my .45 LC Blackhawk. I have been having
quite a bit of fun with my Uberti .44 cap and ball revolver, but it does smoke a lot.

I always bring my .357 S&W 686 Plus to the range just to wake people up.
