Why does the convicted felon hate this tiny fish so much? As Los Angeles burns, resident-elect felon Trump is yelling at a fish.

A fish that is a vital part of the food chain. A fish that other, larger commercially fished species feed upon. Saving those small fish is helping to protect and preserve the state's multi-billion dollar fishing industry.
Vital to what food chain? When was the last time a Delta smell was even observed in the wild? Almost 10 years ago.
The smelt is also one of the most accurate indicators of the health of the state's water supply.
How does it indicate the health of the state's water supply, exactly? And does this mean the state hasn't had any indication of the health of its water supply in the last 10 years?
But as with everything else that has to do with the environment, right-winger idiots are too narrow-minded and thick-skulled to see it.
Are these fires good for the environment?
All they want to do is turn everything into their ugly, dirty, gutter politics and bitch about the danged ol libs!!! :fogey:
No, all we want is for the American people to have the representative government they deserve, and pay for. And in California, they pay for it through the nose.

Suck on this, dumbass N4T.

White Lib cultist authoritarian propaganda. :palm: Now for the truth ...

"State and federal officials have decided to curtail additional water flows intended to support endangered fish in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta this fall — ...

The State Water Contractors, an association of 27 public agencies, said the change this year will preserve needed supplies in reservoirs.

... They said that the additional flows should not occur for several reasons, including “peer-reviewed scientific conclusions indicating that the measure is ineffective for its stated purpose.”

Seriously....🤣 Those are called stories for every occasion...lol
And fishing with live minnows is completely different than fishing with dead minnows. Complete bullshit story.

These white libs only virtue signal environmentalism over other people's lives.

Nope. It's not vital. Watch, once it's gone, no one will miss it, not even the food chain.

The smelt is not instrumentation and the smelt have never been calibrated. Trust me, we have other systems that are much better for that purpose.

But as with everything else that has to do with the environment, leftists will deify it beyond hyperbole, to the point of giving it magical superpowers that save both the planet, help the climate goddess keep the world in balance and serve to protect humanity from evil conservatives. If we listen long enough, we'll learn that attacks on the smelt cause coral bleachings and thermal forcings in the lower stratosphere.

Do your part to protect the solar system and save every smelt, otherwise we'll have to grant millions of H1B visas to foreign smelt to meet our requirements.

You two knuckle-dragging, low-foreheaded apes are just too fucking ignorant to merit a serious response.

Go hump someone else's leg like the drooling dogs you are.

So, first you said the fish in question wasn't the Delta Smelt, but a different one.

After I blasted you out of the water on that, you're admitting it WAS the Delta Smelt, but you posted that article ^^^ which doesn't even address anything we were talking about.

Your article is about the govt reducing water flow to the delta based on the claim that the additional water is not having the effect it was supposed to, which has nothing to do with the original subject which was the bullshit claim that the LA fires could not be effectively fought because the water was dammed up for the sake of a small fish that supposedly had "zero value".

I pointed out that the fish does in fact, have value. Something your article does not even address.

So IOW, your article was useless and addressed nothing being discussed in this thread.

Long story short.....

You FAIL. 🫵🏼
