Why does Trump only live in Liberal places?

It seems that Trump, who I assume could live anywhere he chooses, only lives in the most liberal spots.

NYC, BEDMINSTSR, NJ, and Palm Beach.


Trump would be so welcome in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, or rural Georgia.... Why does he chose super liberal cities to live in?


Palm Beach (his official residence) is the most liberal zip code, not only in Florida, but the entire South.

I worked in a very conservative industry in Texas in the 1990s, and many if not most of my conservative colleagues dreamed of living in liberal Austin, which was known then as the California of Texas.
 
I always wondered why Rush Limbaugh spent so many years in New York City when he could have lived in Nebraska or Alabama.

He doesn't want to be around riff raff .

When has was campaigning he never stated overnight in flyover country.

Trump doesn't have goobers as guests at mar a lago or Bedminster
 
From a bigger picture perspective isn't the liberal claim that diversity is so great? Yet we're supposed to live only in areas where people who vote like we do are a majority? I'm a lifelong Republican yet since the age of 9 have lived in the cities (not suburbs) of Oakland, San Francisco, L.A. and nine months in sh*t hole Boston. Am I a sell out of some sort or not a real Republican for doing this?

There are liberals on this board who live in red states, including the OP. Are all of you not real liberals as well?

develop an argument to contest it.

Why do the rich conservatives so often prefer to live in places more representative of liberal values.

Ans. Because they can afford to.
Ans. Because they are hypocrites and use conservatism to extract filthy lucre from the unwashed yokels who cannot afford to or are unaware of the superior quality of life.
Ans. Because they look up to liberals and wish to be accepted in the higher echelon on society, arts and culture.
Ans. Better fish tacos.

And yet underpinning those cities in each case are amenities and appreciation for urban life and arts and music that are emblematic of liberals and are eschewed by the philistine conservatives
who believe the pinnacle of art is a Tom Clancy beach read and a Ohio State football game.

Though I appreciate your use of the word "more," there is nothing about Manhattan that would prevent an urban cowboy from enjoying life there.
It always comes down to means. If you are wealthy everything is fine everywhere, if you are poor nothing is fine anywhere.
I mean, unless you are a tracker or prepper or something.

That's me. I couldn't live in the suburbs, let alone a rural area. My (very liberal) Aunt lives on a farm in BFE Ohio. I spent a couple days with her and honestly didn't know if I would survive. All these damn animals around and at night all you heard was silence or animals chirping. It freaked me the F out. Haha. I need to hear drunk people yelling and police sirens to put me to sleep.

Plus if you have money, it's a lot easier to insulate yourself from the poorly-educated, unwashed masses in a large city than it is in a "redder" place. #TRE45ON may pretend to love his cult, but not to the point where he wants to see them every day. :laugh:

The search button don't lie, all my posts are out there. If I'm obsessed with both of them this should be easy pickings with my 60K plus posts on this board.
