Why Donald Trump may win a second term

They won’t get it and never will. They don’t want to get it

Here is the fundamental reason why. In their heart of hearts they think they are better and smarter than Trump voters.

I think she is partially right about why he will win re-election. The other reason is he is actually doing what he said he would despite tremendous obstacles.

If the Presidential election were held today, Trump would win in a bigger landslide. He wouldn’t lose a state and would likely pick a few up.

I will go further and say that in 2020, Trump will get at least 15% of the black vote which will make it 10000% impossible for any democrat to win.

You are making the false assumption that those totals represent the same voters in all election years and aren’t accounting for changes due to new voters, dead voters those that voted in one election and not another

Democrats need to realize Trump has one thing on his side, it is a shared hatred of the same people and institutions in America. Of course Trump cares nada for his base, but the base doesn't see that, some may not even care so long as their devils are ostracized. Trumpian conservatism is a creation of 'dark money'. Trump is only taking advantage of many years of that propaganda and education. Read 'Invisible Hands' or 'Dark Money' if you doubt that. Money muddies the waters and makes the issues us against them. That works fine because the elites gain power and prestige and the working class throws stones at each other. Meanwhile resentment grows and workable, productive solutions fade into the distance. How does one determine six million voters switched from Obama to Trump?

Certainly Trump could win in 2020, promoting Obama's economy would carry him, but to do so he would have to limit his blunders and focus on the economy, but he is too big an egotist to accomplish that, one critique by anyone that he doesn't like and off goes Twitter

That shows how Clinton lost votes compared to Obama in three states. It doesn't show how she polled almost exactly the same number nationally (65.8 million) as Obama did in 2012.

2) off set by more votes in states she would have won anyway.....for example.....

How does that make sense? He did lose the popular vote. He became president by the "backdoor" of the electoral college that over ruled the real vote. You would think Trump would recognize that and show some humility and deference. But a man with limited intelligence, a huge childish ego and no respect for our history will do exactly what he wants. And you guys parrot what he lies about and claim it as fact.
You rightys are part of the problem that threatens the American system. Trumpy has driven away our long time allies who fought along with us to beat back Hitler , Mussolini and other other dictators are now embracing a man who is palling around with dictators. What would you have done to a Dem president who claimed Kim was a fine man who he admired. What would you have done if he lauded Putin and turned against our European allies? You would be impeaching.
