Why evangelical Christians support Trump

The apostle Paul was a pharisee. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were evangelists. Jesus has uses for people. He also warned of false prophets, and I think there have been a buttload of them over the years.

If they are truly filled with the spirit of Christ they more than likely don't vote, intentionally, the lessor of two evils still being evil. And they could never support our endless war and occupation machine which would rule out voting for "either" party..

Paul was plotted on by the Pharisees across the Near East, Judea, and in eastern Europe. The Evangelists would reject modern-day evangelicalism. And, yes, there have been a butt load of fundamentalist, Pentecostal, and evangelical false prophets in the last 200 years.

Jesus was surrounded by atrocity at the hands of the Roman state and didn't do jack shit about it. He didn't even raise a finger to save the two helpless criminals tied to the cross next to him.

The whole deal is legend and fraud. He could have been the prince of peace but God sure as hell isn't the king of it. Just look at nature.

Excuse me, my theologically atrophied waif. But Jesus, being God Almighty, the Sovereign Creator, did state that he could send legions of angels to save Him. He willfully chose to lay His life down for the sins of mankind. AND! the one thief on the Cross is in Heaven with Christ because he DID believe.

That He did. The thing a lot of people fail to appreciate is the view beyond this life, and how death is viewed as cruelty.
