Why I am against mail in voting

which is more secure, a brick house or a straw hut? this is a metaphor illustrating the concept of basic common sense. do you possess basic common sense?

Nope. Common sense is the last vestige of a losing argument. When you have no facts, you claim common sense. And you have no facts. Your metaphor is laughable. Try this one. Which is smaller, an electron or a proton. Since both are minuscule in size, any difference would be meaningless. I don't care if mail in fraud represents 10 times what in person fraud represents. The difference between .0001 and .001 isn't worth the discussion. Find me facts. You appear to have absolutely no common sense, so that argument is a loser.

I can do this all day. You lose.

yes. I know common sense eludes you. you're hilarious.

No, troll, it doesn't elude me. It is, however, not a substitute for facts. Since you have no facts, you make a feeble attempt to appeal to common sense. I'll stick with facts. You stick with a feeling. You lose.

A brick house. Is there a point? Of course not. Your analogy is an epic fail. Which is smaller, an electron or a proton? See, I can ask absurd questions too. Have a point. Otherwise, you look like a troll.

you got a study? otherwise you're just running on feelings. you're dumb.

You mean people would come to my house, find my Password, and use my Computer to vote?

That isn't mail-in. In mail-in you'd use paper checks, deposit slips, etc. As with ballot harvesting, you'd then hand those to a third party you never met before and trust them to take them to the bank for you and make sure they got entered correctly.

Computer wise, the problem is who controls the servers. How would you know for sure what was being done with your voting entries (data)? Hacking is obviously an ongoing issue as well.

I've never had any problem with On-line Banking. I believe it's encrypted.

So's a lot of stuff. My view is computers are rat bastards that will sell you out in a nanosecond. You should consider everything you do or put on a computer is forever and potentially will be publicly exposed. There is no such thing as completely safe on-line data.

I prefer a system that mails you your ballot, which you then have to fill out and hand in in person at a polling station to be counted on a stand-alone network. Have voting occur over say 3 or 4 days this way to include a weekend or have a national holiday for voting. But, you have to turn it in to a person who verifies who you are using proper ID and it gets counted in front of you.

That isn't absolutely perfect, but it's a damn sight better than unaccountable ballots mailed in or collected by persons unknown.
