Yeah, I know. It has been pointed outthat I was wrong and I looked up the info on it.
But, from what I seen, none of those weapons purchased legally by private citizens has been used in any mass murders.

Pretty much. There has been 1 incident with a legal full auto, but it was used by a cop who was exempt from the typical NFA restrictions.

and I didn't mean to sound antagonistic or condescending. I was just in a hurry at home and didn't have any time to expand on it. so if it came across that way, my apologies.
there have been two instances of a legally owned automatic weapon being used in a crime and ironically enough, they were committed by law enforcement officers off duty.
