Why is Biden ignoring Iran’s influence in the Hamas attacks? It’s simple — politics

Because the Biden administration has been eagerly pursuing a nuclear agreement with Tehran, White House officials admitted to Bloomberg News that they have relaxed sanctions on Iran. The impact of that idiocy has been that Iran’s oil exports, which languished at less than 800,000 barrels per day under President Trump, soared to around 1.7 million b/d in August. (Some put the figure even higher, at 2 mb/d.) According to one estimate, that means Iran raked in $30-$40 billion in extra revenues this past year. Forget the $6 billion held by Qatar that Biden’s team recently unfroze; the jump in oil revenues was more than enough to fund the malevolent activities of Hamas, Hezbollah and other terror proxies.

Syrian militiamen paid by Iran have seen their salaries slashed. Projects Iran promised to help Syria’s ailing economy have stalled. Even employees of Hezbollah, the Lebanese group that has long served as Iran’s closest Arab ally, say they have missed paychecks and lost other perks.

Iran’s financial crisis, exacerbated by American sanctions, appears to be undermining its support for militant groups and political allies who bolster Iranian influence in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and elsewhere.

“The golden days are gone and will never return,” said a fighter with an Iranian-backed militia in Syria who recently lost a third of his salary and other benefits. “Iran doesn’t have enough money to give us.”

Across the Middle East, Iran’s allies are showing signs of financial strain.

Some of that strain may simply reflect the impact of the prolonged armed conflicts in Syria and Iraq. Hezbollah, which had focused resources on confronting Israel along Lebanon’s southern border, has been diverting fighters and weapons to Syria for years. Shiite fighters directed by Iran helped battle the Islamic State after the militant group overran parts of Iraq five years ago.

But Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, acknowledged the difficulties created by the American sanctions, criticizing them this month as “a form of war” and calling on the movement’s fund-raising arm “to provide the opportunity for jihad with money and also to help with this current battle.”

The Hezbollah couldn't get regular pay checks when Trump made Iran poor then Dementia Joe decided to ignore the oil sanctions and now we have Hezbollah sending missiles and drones at American soldiers and at out ally. This mess in the Mid East is in large part is Biden's fault.

Because he believes the AP and the MSM will give him unceasing and loyal cover for any and all stupid mistakes he makes starting with brown folks dripping from planes in Afghanistan to opening (then later bombing) gas pipelines that made Russia believe that they had a way around the Ukraine pipelines to get gas to Europe so they warmed up the war machine, and even in removing sanctions in Iran in a Chamberlain-esque attempt to appease Iran enough to get them to give up nukes... and so far he's been right, they've given him cover enough that the left claimed that there was no difference between current and past sanctions.

Remember just a short time ago when the $6 Billion was in question as to whether we were funding Hamas indirectly and the left started trying to blame Trump instead of recognizing the dangerous weakening of sanctions that began almost immediately after pResident Biden took office? Yeah.... good times...

You should have voted for the only guy that had a resonable chance of beating Biden.

How do you like Biden now because that is what you got. I'd rather have a half of piece of cake than no cake at all.

The problem was that it was not half a piece of cake, it was a turd hand-shaped into a brownie like shape...

When the choice was between a urine filled douche and a turd sandwich I chose someone I'd rather see be President. Now, if I were in a state where the feces sandwich had a chance to beat the urine filled douche I may have voted differently, but blaming me for the weakness in your own candidate and pretending that poop brownie you have is "dessert" and you're happy with it... Nah, I won't be playing that game. I won't play it this time either.

plus you're a globalist who never liked trump but you don't want to say it.

Major cop-out.

The lessor of two evils is still preferable.

Would you rather have Trump or Biden?

We know Trump's record and Biden's record.

Prefer Biden's?

See my last post...

You know this one...

Do better. If Trump had a plan to beat the left I might be willing to hold my nose and hope... however his plan is to be the loudest in the room and ride indictments to "victory"... It's possible with 17 leftists trying to run third party that even that plan has a chance to win in the long run, but I won't be playing in this game. Instead of voting for the "lesser of two evils" and winding up voting for "evil" I will vote for the person I think would make the best President again. It won't be Biden, but it also won't be Trump.

Trump has no plan to overcome what caused him to lose the last election (Hint: it was not my vote). Instead he plans on running the same losing campaign, all while defending himself in court. It's unsustainable.

I get the will to defend Trump, we should. However such defense does not also have to include a free ride to candidacy.

Still a morbid cop-out.

You helped elect Biden.

Alright, minor cop-out.

When you vote for the person who has no chance of being elected, you help elect the person of greater evil.

High minded principles cost us our country.

Ross Perot cost the Republicans an election.

Do better.

I did not. No matter how I voted the electoral votes in this state will go Democrat, it's been that way since GWB, it will continue to be that way so long as folks in Colorado ignore Soros' money funding their candidates.

You need to find better candidates. Pretending it is my fault is ignoring the elephant in the room. Trump lost to a Basement Dwelling Dementia Patient... and instead of recognizing that and changing tactics Trump's plan is to rehash the last election that he lost without regard to why he lost.

Pretending that your weak, "It's your fault Brandon is President!" hits home is just pretense. Do better. Even if it is Trump as your candidate he needs a plan to defeat the "cheating" he thinks happened in the last election or he'll just lose again. He has no plan, he's made no change, he is simply the man who lost to a dementia patient that didn't even have to campaign to win.
