Why is Google showing me so many gross and disturbing ads here?

I mean at any time now I half expect to see an actually pile of shit. This seems like it has to be on purpose, and almost must be intended as a giant "FUCK YOU!"...but what was my crime?

Is this retaliation for my various thought crimes?

What happened to DONT BE EVIL?

No, and other JPP members have had similar complaints so I know it is not just me...what I want to know is how many get this treatment, and are they all resisting the WOKE regime.

This is exactly something the WOKE would do, and that the Tech Overlords would do.

There are ways you can prevent those unwanted ads. I don't like suggesting adblockers because I want JPP site to be supported financially.

It's not a theory. I get ads for beads, fabric and sewing supplies, pet toys and food, sandals, eye shadow, custom made blinds, spices, cooking gear, garden seeds, live plants, and solar lights. All things I've either browsed or purchased recently.

You are also WOKE...so if you report that you dont see these gross out ads constantly then I might very well be right.

That doesn't make any difference; it's the sites you go to that allow your browser to log (and pass along) your browsing history. Mr. Owl gets ads for stuff he's interested in like audio equipment, motorcycles, cars, chainsaw supplies, etc. I don't get his ads and vice versa.

Clean up your browsing habits and you won't have to whine about yucky, icky ads that offend you. :laugh:

PS -- You're not alone. I recall one member whining about "Why do I keep getting ads to date Russian and Asian women, and ads for porn? Is Damo running a side business?" or words to that effect.

That I can block ads is irrelevant....on par with claiming that keeping a blindfold on makes everything that is happening in the world go away.
