Why is the Democratic Convention being held in a right wing racist state?

I'm not saying all Southerners are racist. Just that it's more common in that region.
I'd say the most racist place in the world is Latin America. That's not stereotyping either, just accepting the truth.

Other than California, all those states are politically centrist.

How is Massachusetts politically centrist? It's mostly one party control with Democrats. What is your frame of reference for progressive or left? Rojava?

Democrats are centrist. They're so centrist that they think Bernie is too far-left.

Look at it like this. Social Democracy is Left, Capitalism/Fascism is Right. Most Democrats fall in the middle. Even Bernie is very moderate as far as Social Democracy goes. At most, I'd call him left-leaning.

Capitalism is the market liberalism component of liberalism, you Nazi.

Yep! They got phones and don't need driver's licenses.

Why not hold the convention in a more diverse state which represents the diverse party?

Why support racist white wing business's who will never vote for dems?

They don't even have any stay at home orders in place to protect the public?

Why do the dems keep supporting white wing racist?

Your on iggy

In a global context, sure. In the American context, Bernie is far left while the Democratic party is not quite far left, but getting there.

So a staunch Democrat in Massachusetts is definitely left wing, and that is the majority of the voting public there.

Most Americans agree with so-called far-left policies. If Medicare for All is a popular mainstream stance, how can it be far-left?

I'd like to see the stats on that. Public polling can be largely steered by the phrasing of a question. Also, multiple proposals have been made for that policy. Some are more left wing than others.

If it's just a matter of extending Medicare to the entire population, that's not necessarily left wing, although it's not very functional either. Medicare is a pretty broken system. It's only "popular" to the extent that people who depend on it don't want it to go away.

If people had other options, they'd be more inclined to pick something else.

Maybe, but the point is that plenty of people will take Medicare for All over what we have now. So while it might not be the first choice for everyone, it's certainly not a far-left idea anymore. Like with women voting and Catholic immigration, it's become mainstream and, if we ever get it, it will be just a normal part of American life.

Demoncat party is the most grave threat to American society ..Ever
Far greater than old USSR or Islamic terrorist

Who cares? Neither party represents the people anymore. These conventions are part of the dog and pony shows which exist to promote some kind of illusion.

The whole East Coast is more racist.

The difference is the North-East is largely for national healthcare, but racist.

As opposed to the South-East who are anti-National healthcare, but racist, or the West Coast which are for national healthcare & against racism too.
