Racism ? You’re saying the country suddenly got more rayciss in 2016 than in 2008 & ‘12? No trump lost because he’s an overbearing obnoxious asshole.

There’s more reasons than that. It’s a repudiation of dim policies- soft on crime, open border, penalizing domestic oil industry while encouraging it from rogue nations. It doesn’t take a genius to see that.
The best you can hope for is that the Nov elections won’t be a historic bloodbath for dims.

Trump brought racist assholes and terrorists to the forefront thereby legitimizing them. Why else do you think they felt to free to fly their true anti-American colors under Trump?

Disagreed. Anyone who supports terrorism is a terrorist supporter but anyone who ever took an oath to the Constitution who supports overthrowing the US government is a traitor. Earl claims he was in the military. If true, he's a traitor. Fredo, you are just a basement terrorist supporter.

Gay issues are difficult for me to even try to discuss, because I don't know much about them. I had a gay boss once, and he was a good boss, he died from aids. For I5 years, had no idea he was even gay, but when he came down with aids and his room mate died from it, he announced to everyone he was in fact a gay, retired, and died a few months later. I liked the man- one of the best bosses I ever had overall.

So, I just remain neutral towards gay people. I don't have to sleep with them. They don't affect my hetero lifestyle. I just think they have rights like everyone else.

I do not believe all the conspiracy theories about GROOMING IN PUBLIC schools by Gay teachers. I think that is just Bullshit and Hate profiling that is unnecessary and wrong.

If I ever hear of a student, or admitted gay person, that say's their teacher influeneed or groomed them into being gay- I may have a 2nd thought about it.

Until then- I don't even want to discuss it, as I think it is totally a non-issue- and hate politics intended to incite hatred towards gay people by Trumptards for political reasons.

I know what the OP is saying - but I can't be as casual about it. Democracy really is in danger, and if it falls, we could look a lot like the current Ukraine, or worse.

I'll be sure to remind the idiots that they called what we have now "oppression" and "tyranny" at that point. But it won't be pleasant.

Ukraine's big problem isn't internal.
They've been invaded, and the West is too chicken-shit to help them.

Perhaps if we hadn't spent the last twenty years wasting time in the primitive rock pile called the Middle East,
we'd have more appetite to save civilized Europe now.

This is not an easy time to be proud to be an American.
We have too much mutant garbage infecting our citizenship, and that brings the rest of us down.

My time is almost done, but the same could be said of the America that was founded 240 odd years ago.
It could go two ways.
It could be partitioned so that the civilized part may be saved.
Or it could continue on its path to horrific dystopia.

It's somebody else's problem now.

Chickenshit? When WW3 is in the cards, you play carefully. If it is possible to save Ukraine without making a terrible mess, then that is what the west should do. Putin has even talked about Nukes. It would be very disappointed in the west blustered into that war. They are helping Ukraine. They are measuring their responses. That is why we have leaders.
