The economy is in the hands of the Democrats and has been for the last 5 years....even 7 years if you consider Dems OWNED the entire Congress
for the last 2 years of the Bush Admin.....
Thats 2 out 3 branchs of gov. for the last 7 years.......and you're still blaming the side out of power ?....Get real.

Over and over and over and over we have pointed out that the Dems have NOT been in charge; we have the Presidency, but the Senate, because we need 60 votes due to the abuse of the filibuster by repubs, is not ours. The house isn't ours and due to Franken's delay in getting seated and Kennedy's death, was barely ours even in the first couple years.

No, the dems aren't socialists (sigh); the repubs - not sure what they are; they just obstruct everything, they don't seem to really have a position
 
So I understand Dirty Harry(Reid) wants to raise taxes by a trillion bucks. Obama has said it himself that he is a "wealth redistributor", so to speak. Where is Harry's trillion bucks going to go? "Progressive" policies are causing American companies to turn their employees into part timers to avoid govt. regulations and allow them to continue to make a profit. The real unemployment rate in the country is at least 14%. I don't know, you tell me, what do conservatives have to fail from Reich's socialist paradigm? And the plain truth of it is, we would love to see jobs come back! When are the demorats going to do something about it? First, you told us that obamacare was the answer, then it was "alternative energy". What else you got? This is the only perk to being the party out of power, the other guys have to LEAD. You lefties are doing the opposite of leadership, you come up with stupid crap that is destined to fail, and when it does, you blame the GOP for their failure to lead.

Obamacare....weakened by the corporate lobbyists of big Pharma...who doesn't want competition....not to mention a huge smear campaign by the right wing media.

Alternative Energy......crippled by corporate lobbyists from the fossil fuel conglomerate....not to mention the overblowing of Solyndra and a couple other green energy failures by.....right wing media.

This stuff is not "destined to fail"....that's more right wing bullshit. It's a matter of who gets there first....and obviously, you and your cronies would much rather have it in the hands of the Chinese than us....hence....fuck us out of sustainable jobs.

Yeah right it is the big bad boys from Big Oil keeping "alternative" energy from being a panacea. It has nothing to do with a failed business model and the fact that they just aren't cost effective technologies based on one simple fact THERMODYNAMICS.
