WHY SOCIALISM IS THE DUMB BLONDE OF AMERICAN POLITICS

It's one more aspect of Marxism than you acknowledged earlier. Good to see you're coming around to facts.

Anyone unwilling to provide the basics of life to themselves and their family should starve.

I never said it wasn't a trait of Marxism. The argument was whether or not these government programs are Marxism. If all it takes is one trait, well Obama didn't take away private property, so by your own logic, he's a Capitalist.

That's why I said it's good to see you're coming around to facts. Eventually, if you're honest, you'll admit that it is Marxism.

By your logic, a statement could have an incorrect portion and the entire statement would be true. No wonder you idiots think there are more than two genders.

Hello StoneByStone,

That's why so many younger voters are embracing Socialism now. For as long as we've been alive, the Right has used this word to refer to ANY program to help the working-class.

If Boomers get mad that we're not afraid of "Socialism" because it doesn't invoke images of Soviet gulags for us, they should blame themselves for saying the ACA was Socialist.

The right created it's own hell.

And the right has shot itself in it's own foot because they have also created a demographic situation which produces more opposition. They have adopted a policy which allows abortion for anyone who has lots of money to travel, but prohibits it for the very poor who do not.

Hello Miss Margot Frank,

"Capitalism is like a dead herring in the moonlight,it shines but it stinks"

So is straight up socialism.

And that's why we are wise to incorporate the best elements of each into a hybrid system which uses capitalism for wants, socialism for needs. That way, everyone has their needs met, and those who wish to excel have the opportunity to do so. This creates a society where everyone has everything they really need, and those who wish to obsess over wealth are free to pursue it.

I'm not sure what the political implications of that will be, as most people who tend to vote Republican actually are poor. That, and a need for cheap labor, is why I think the Right is against abortion.

It's only Marxism if there is no private property or free market.

And no, your analogy doesn't work. Like I said, Obama also believed in private property and free markets, which are also Capitalist traits. So by your own logic, Obama was a Capitalist.

Wrong.

The right is against abortion because they cannot win elections without the evangelicals.

Hello StoneByStone,

Yeah, but the Evangelicals oppose abortion because it's considered a "left-wing thing." And of course, they still support Trump, despite his failure to stop abortion.
