The left will spin this way and that way, but here is why the other nights debate mattered so much and why the left wing media stenographers were in such a state of shock. It wasn't that OWEbummer lost. It was that Romney for the first time to a VERY large group of Americans looked like a plausible alternative. That has been the missing piece to this campaign.
It has long been decided that the American people no longer want the big eared kenyan as their president anymore. That is without question. What was in doubt was whether or not Romney was a plausible alternative. Millions of dollars of advertising from the regime and missteps by Romney himself cast doubt.
Wednesday nights debate changed all of that. People looked at Romney and said to themselves "Yeah, I can see him as President"
If OHbummer can't get his approval numbers up above 50% (which he hasn't been able to do for a while), he is done. Finished. It will be a landslide.
