Why this will backfire on Israel

Israel doesn't have to pay .. they collect .. BILLIONS and BILLIONS of US TAXPAYER DOLLARS .. and they do it with a slight of hand called "guilt."

guilt.....for what? israel has been a very strategic ally in the ME...you should really read up on why the US is involved with israel, it is mostly military having to do with curbing the radical islamic expansion

Dude, ever hear of the Balfour Declaration?

Any idea how much US TAXPAYER DOLLARS have been poured into Israel?

Any idea how much America pays with regards to terrorism, loss of global respect, influence, and power over Israel?

The more we support Israel, the more we distance ourselves from the rest of the world .. a world we are increasingly dependent on.

The more we support Israel the wider we open the door for China, Russia, and the SCO to make gains throughout the arab and African world, and in europe.

Are you aware that Israel cannot exist without mass infusions of US TAXPAYER DOLLARS?

so what is your solution to getting hamas to stop the rocket attacks, suicide bombings, and using women and children as human shields? do you agree that hamas houses most of their weaponry and launches attacks from civilian centers?

Well, what it doesn't involve is killing hundreds of civilians, after keeping them in a state of siege for the past 2 years and refusing to even discuss the offer of a 50 year ceasefire.

How's that for starters?

you never mentioned what our guilt is for....

yes, british....but the jews were moving to israel and buying land LONG before that...

maybe hamas should keep ceasefires and stop bombing israel for starters...

Maybe Israel should have accepted the will of the Palestinian electorate and refrained from playing the politics of divide and rule (again), fomenting a civil war between Fatah and Hamas?

There is no white knight here, mate. They are both at fault and killing civilians is not going to make Israel any safer.

For standing by while Hitler was roasting Jews.

yes, british....but the jews were moving to israel and buying land LONG before that...

Take a history class .. there was no Israel before that. Jews had been living peacefully among muslims for hundreds of years.

The Balfour Declaration

The Balfour Declaration of 1917 was the first significant declaration by a world power in favour of a Jewish "national home" in what was known as Palestine.

Historians disagree as to what the then British Foreign Secretary, Arthur James Balfour, intended by his declaration. The letter has no mention of the word "state", and insists that nothing should be done "which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine".

The letter was addressed to Lord Rothschild, a leader of the Jewish community in Britain. It became an important arm of the movement to create a Jewish state in Palestine.

I asked if you knew what the declaration was. Israel wasn't artificially created until 1948 .. the Balfour Declaration was in 1917.

yeah, the muslims hate us....whooopeee, nothing new they want world domination ever since their profit came into existence...they have been warring with us BEFORE israel....next

Next? you didn't pass from this class.

We should do things that are in our interest, not the interests of a rogue foreign non-democratic government

No, they could not. It's the most hated nation on earth and they could not survive without welfare.

For such a simple question i'm amazed nobody seems to know the answer.

You'd think somebody would welcome the chance to show the world "the truth".
Israel has no interest in the truth being exposed. The truth has, in the past, shown pictures of little Vietnamese girls running away from their burning village, clothes burned from their skin, and burns on their body. Vietnamese officers shooting men with their hands tied behind their backs in the head. In wartime, truth is the first casualty. Wow I should copyright that.

provide a link that america supports israel solely because of hitler or guilt....

it was known as the land of israel a couple of thousand years ago...you know this, take a biblical history class...

artifically created....LOL, every nation state today is artifically created, you really want to go down this path?

i never said the balfour declaration created israel now did i...i said jews were buying land there long before that, do you even realize this? tell me what was happening in the latter part of the 19th century....how many muslims lived there and how many jews were buying up the land there....yeah, muslims were selling the land to the jews cheap because muslims saw the land as near worthless....

it is clear you fail again...

so, what about em

that is YOUR opinion, NOT fact. it is apparent YOU hate them, but they are not the most hated nation on earth...nice try bigot

you sure seem to post only israel's faults, not hamas'....

israel kept the cease fire, hamas did not...now we have what we have...i think at this point, enough is enough and israel needs to back up and get out or go all the way and take over....they have made their point, if they aren't going take over, enough already....too many 'mistakes' and any more isn't going to accomplish anything

Perhaps, you read only what you want.

Perhaps, you should find out the terms of the ceasefire and if Israel kept to it.

Perhaps, you should ask why Israel fostered and funded Hamas in the first place.

likewise

do you know what hamas' charter says about israel and islam...that may answer some serious questions here as to a resolution, don't you think...i am interested in your opinion on their charter

from what i have read all accounts say hamas broke the ceasefire...if you have other sources that say differnt, would like to see them
