Who is allowed to steal?
If you are not allowed to stop someone from stealing, of what use are laws against theft?
Who is allowed to steal?
There's no law against standing 12' away from the guy stealing your car, and in a calm, steady voice saying:"If you are not allowed to stop someone from stealing, of what use are laws against theft?" T #381
this is why i'm the average idiots worst nightmare. i'm an agnostic, constitution loving, libertarian who is former USMC and is readily prepared to do what is necessary to defend the constitution from enemies foreign and domestic. it's just tragic that there are so many domestic enemies these days.
lol
Back to that same old barrel-stroker’s mantra.
Yeah, why stay on topic, right dickhead?
More guns make us safer. If those people in the synogague were packing heat, things would have turned out much better. If they would have stood up and aimed their guns at the guy with the gun, "bang" problem solved.
People who don't know how to use caps and punctuation are allowed in the Marines, and that alone is something about which we seriously need to worry.
Having the disjointed logic to imply that somebody like myself, an actual war veteran albeit not proud of it, might possibly be a "domestic enemy" is an even bigger problem.
I own guns, really nice ones with polished and checkered walnut stocks, not the shit that I was given "in service to my country,"
which in reality was in service to my country's war profiteers,
and frankly I don't care if other Americans own guns.
I do care that an ex-Marine who belongs in a mental institution has firearms in his possession, however.
This is the type of thing at which we need to look.
You’re the pussy motherfucker who claims you can carry your pissant popgun anywhere. But when I challenge you to go to your local courthouse, you wimp out.
Pussy motherfucker
Sorry dumbass, I was never a Clinton supporter. You, on the other hand, support a lying, adulterous, coward.
There's no law against standing 12' away from the guy stealing your car, and in a calm, steady voice saying:
"Excuse me sir. You are in violation of law. Please don't change your location. I'm summoning law enforcement authorities to arrest you for this crime."
But law enforcement is as skill not suited to amateurs. The proof of that is how many times professionals get it wrong.

Right."I know more damned law than most beat cops. and if law enforcement was so fucking 'skilled' at their job, they wouldn't be given qualified immunity and that pathetic empathic vote of moronic civilians who say they have a tough job while hammering other citizens who dare exercise their rights." SY #390
Right.
My comment to which you respond was not intended as genuflecting reverence for law enforcers.
Instead it was intended as an acknowledgement for the complications of law enforcement.
You are right of course. Many professional police simply are not up to it. Would you have us believe amateurs would be any better?
I owe you an apology, Smarterthanyou.
I somehow missed you, but we'll fix that now.
Welcome to my ignore list!
the number of college educated people i've come across wouldn't be fit to clean my toilets.SY #393
Right.
If society could afford to hire only PhD for beat COPs, we might improve their outcome.
what qualifications do you believe that law enforcement has that civilians are incapable of achieving? But however good or bad beat COPs are, that doesn't render the layman more qualified.
i'd love for you to explain how and why you think that is.Law enforcement is complicated.
If you are not allowed to stop someone from stealing, of what use are laws against theft?
"Incapable of achieving" is completely the wrong formulation. Possess is the correct formulation."what qualifications do you believe that law enforcement has that civilians are incapable of achieving?" SY #397
Years of OTJ, plus college level in depth training in CJ."i'd love for you to explain how and why you think that is." SY
The previous post went so far over your head, I’m sure this one will, as well.
Know when the best time to plant a tree? 20 years ago.
Know when the second best time is, stupid fuck? Today.
We can’t go back 20, 30, 40 years to enact laws that would keep weapons from people that should never have access to them. The next best day is today, idiot.
That fuck needed to be cut off from ANY access to weapons. With the ability to track mentally ill people these days, much easier.
But guess what, stupid fuck? Trump eliminated that Obama requirement.
