Why were CNN cameras present at Stone’s arrest?

That is true, guess they got short memories, or selective memories

Six years we loved thru GOP redundant investigations and right wing media litigation of everything Clinton

On top of those six years we've had two years of orchestrated House efforts to deflect off of Mueller's efforts "investigating" every inneundo raised in the right wing media, and now Grahamn wants to continue those shams in the Senate

And Trumpkins are now crying about Mueller's investigation, which in a year and half has produced actual inditements rather than just perpetuating conspiracies and inneundos for prime time FOX and the radio

AMEN!

FAIL. That's an article, not military records. :palm:

Mullet has a special relationship with the News Fakers at CNN?

How does that work?

Mr. Trump tweeted a response to Stone's indictment, questioning how CNN had obtained footage of the arrest.

The CNN report said its crew staked out Stone's house Friday morning after reporters noticed unusual grand jury activity in Washington, D.C., on Thursday and thought something could happen.

Hello Kacper,

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...tinct-not-a-tip-off-let-us-film-stones-arrest

CNN said Friday that it did not have any advance warning that President Trump's former confidant Roger Stone would be arrested Friday morning, an event that CNN was able to cover exclusively.
Instead, a producer for CNN said a team of reporters was present for the raid on Stone's home due to "reporter's instinct."
"It's reporter's instinct," CNN producer David Shortell said Friday when asked why a CNN camera crew was in place at Stone's home. "The whole Russia team thought maybe something was happening."

"There was some unusual grand jury activity in Washington, D.C. yesterday," he said. "Robert Mueller's grand jury typically meets on Fridays. Yesterday, Thursday, there was grand jury activity."
"We also had some other signs that maybe something was going on this angle, the Roger Stone angle," Shortell added. "So we showed up at his house this morning, we were the only ones there, and lo and behold, the FBI agents did come."

Makes sense. Thanks for finding that.

Who is Mullet?

Anyway, CNN certainly has many contacts in the FBI, so it's not hard to picture them being tipped off. However, according to CNN, they had simply sent two people to stake out the house because the flood of Stone-related information in the last week suggested an arrest might be imminent and they wanted someone there if it happened. Since it wasn't exactly their "A-Team" (David Shortell?), that is plausible. The producer was a young guy with less than two years of experience at CNN... exactly the kind of person you'd expect them to send to sit on a house for what could be a long time in hopes that a story might eventually break there.
