Why would anyone listen to the President's State of the Union speech tomorrow night?

I mean, I've listen to quite a few, Democrat and Republican, Trump's joint session last year, even remember Nixon's in 1969, but I can't find any reason why I would watch Trump's speech tomorrow night

You know he's going to start off erroneously claiming credit for everything short of the sun rising, and from there offer contrived reasons for policies on immigration, infrastructure, and the like all of which could change by tomorrow morning. The call for unity and bipartisanship will be prevalent, which will be hollow considering up to yesterday he has personally attacked a good number of the people he now asks for cooperation

The President is lucky the Democrats don't have any Joe Wilson's on their side cause if they did the person would have a field day and definitely throw Trump off his rhythm glued reading the teleprompter right to left

You'd have to be a real Trumpkin to sit thru this one

We both know you'll be talking about it, whether you listen to it or not.

I don't know why. For one thing I can't stand the sound of his voice, it's like nails on a chalkboard. I agree with your 2nd paragraph about taking credit for everything. And he'll probably throw in the usual about "crooked Hillary", 3 million illegal immigrants voting, Mexico's going to pay for the wall... his standard laundry list of lies and boasts. Hope the fact checkers are geared up for this.

Great, so if you dispute something he says, what will be your source?

He does care or otherwise he wouldn't feel the need to inflate numbers to build himself up more. Who does that?

Trump supporters don't even believe negative direct quotes from him or find ways to excuse it so actually watching him speak to get that direct quote makes utterly no difference to his base.

Lol, yeah right. Like you won't be watching with a bowl of popcorn, bunny slippers, and bated breath.

For laughs, I suppose, if you have a dark sense of humour! :)

That's not true, prior President's may have been predictable, all weren't, but at least they had a degree of credibility, this President doesn't even come close

That’s the media template, at least.

Why wouldn’t people watch it? The country is doing well. Trump is an historic president if for no other reason than he’s the first non-politician to run for President—-and win.

Your last statement is incorrect

I said the same thing about watching Obama and one you ass lickers immediately, without hesitation, played the race card.

when Joe Wilson called Obama a liar, he wasn't wrong. Don't like it, you better pucker up some more and ease your pain.
