My guess is that Gores fellow demalquedacrats will channel their inner capitalist and cut Algore some slack.

For the record I do not care that he has amassed. A great fortune. I don't even care that he made these financials was prior to Obamas confiscatory tax rates taking effect. I am merely pointing out hypocrisy of the left

guess its ok to get rich on the taxpayers dime, or as a political civil servant or because of political connections, but not as a corporate bigwig or wall street broker....

I've never begrudged anyone their wealth. I don't see how a "lefty" is a hypocrite by amassing wealth. If someone is a communist perhaps, and I'm sure that's how you see most lefties, but that's only because you're a koolaid-immersed hack who has no individual thought process.

People were upset about Haliburton because of no-bid contracts and the appearance of malfeasance in profiting from an unnecessary war. Not because Cheney is "rich."

Dianne Feinstein, or Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid, and others...

Obama in 2009 told federal agencies that no-bid contracts were “wasteful’’ and “inefficient.’’ Four years later, his administration spent more money on non-competitive contracts than ever before.....never hear you whine about that.

the simple acquisition of wealth does not imply or indicate greed. The means by which the wealth is acquired might lead to those sorts of assumptions. I see nothing inherently "greedy" in Gore's means of income generation.
