I can go with that. Donald Trump transformed the previously establishment Republican party by getting rid of the RINOs and transitioned the party to a nice classical-libertarian-MAGA-tea-party blend. Those who were Democrats were suffocating and their efforts were quashed, so they jumped ship to the new, transitioning Republican party.
Bottom Line: Nobody has any confidence in the DNC, not even the remaining quarreling, bickering, whining, wound-licking Democrats, and confidence in the new Republican party is soaring and growing by the day.
