Do you get Newsmax? That is where all these claims are coming from about submitting alternate slates of electors. But, they are being submitted by Republicans state legislators, not the state legislature.

And, as we have been told again and again, only the state legislature has the plenary power to choose electors. That means the alternate slates have no constitutional authority.

December 14th wasn't any sort of deadline for the State legislatures. The only date that matters is January 6th ... which clearly has not yet happened.

As stated by the Constitution, Congress sets the date for voting. Congress has set that date for December 14th. The state legislatures have control over how the slate of Electors that vote on December 14th are chosen, but once they have voted have no more power.

We know for a fact that each state had only picked one slate of Electors, and we know how they voted. If there was multiple slates that had voted on December 14th, then there would be some doubt of the outcome. There is no doubt of the outcome whatsoever.

Biden got 306 of the Electors. Now they just need to be counted.

Hasn't the DNC been preparing you with excuse talking points? The DNC is well aware that Biden is going to lose on January 6th but we both know that they aren't going to be honest with their mindless base who is too intellectually lazy to do any independent research on their own. Whatever the DNC says is what reality is ... and no, you are never going to question that. You are an obedient Leftist standing in solidarity with yout party.

There is no doubt among the DNC, and the majority of the American people that the results are going to be 306 for Biden. There are no other Electors out there.

For a while it was looking like certain contested States were simply going to punt and just abstain from sending electors, thus denying either candidate the 270 electoral votes needed to win and sending the vote to the House whereby Trump would win by a lopsided 31-20 margin.

But lately, it's beginning to look like some of those contested States are going to do the right thing and flip back to Trump thus giving him the 270 electoral votes to win outright.

If I had to bet, ... I'm still not sure which path will take Trump to his second term.
