Will trump even last an entire term?

Trump is free and clear now. There is literally nothing anyone is going to do to stop him. Finally our justice system has been wholly neutered. The Supreme Court itself is for sale and all the rest of the courts had their balls cut off.

This is how we make America Great.
I'm not a lawyer but won't the state charges still stand, even if put on hold?

The post is a fair question. Trump booted American translators and personnel out and relied on Russian interpreters. Are you fine with that? Are you saying you do not wonder why he did that? Can you make it harmless in your Trumpian brain?
MAGAS can't face reality and the fact that their orange GOD COULD be one of the biggest traitors the US has ever had.
As you asked why didn't Trump want any other AMERICAN in those meeting?
And as I have pointed out we may NEVER know FOR SURE what happened in those meetings, unless one of those Russians comes forward and tells us but I don't think that will ever happen.

I bet he's strangely more able to keep chugging along like this for a while. Physically. Mentally already you see the slippage. The man was never a particularly bright man in his heyday but he's really slowing down now.

He'll make it through the 4 years I suppose but primarily the way he did it last time: lots of time spent on the tax payers $$$ golfing at one of his many properties. And forcing Secret Service to pay full cost for the rooms at Mar a Lago thereby enriching him.

As long as money is flowing into his coffers he cannot die. Expect quite a few violations of the Emoluments Clause like in the last administration but now that SCOTUS has made him king there will be no repercussions.

This is going to be 4 great years for Trump. He's figured out how little he actually needs to do, how much we'll all pay for him to golf and he's figured out that you can LITERALLY STEAL FROM A CHARITY and no one cares.

Pigs like trump (my apologies to actual four legged pigs 🐷) never die young enough to do the world any good by ridding it of their existence.

Look how long it took Rush Limbaugh to finally croak.

A good two or three decades too late.

Still, every day is another opportunity for hope. 👍🏼

He might be what a court appointed psychologist would deem to be "mentally stable" as part of a competency assessment, but he's shown himself to be like trump in his willingness to say anything it takes to ingratiate himself to whichever group he's trying to cozy up to or curry favor with.

That's not anything close to a desirable quality in a President.

I think we had quite enough of that during #TRE45ONv.1. Was there a single despot/dictator whose ass he didn't kiss?

Yes and he is as smart as a whip. Trump will have a better legacy than Reagan's and be a king maker. The DEI libtard party will be in the dust heap of history.

He wasn't elected as potus and trump wouldn't have been sworn in yet, so vance would not be VP at that point.

Suspend the inauguration, set a primary date, let members of both parties campaign, hold one primary debate for each side, nominate the candidates then hold another election around mid year.

This could be a futuristic political sci-fi movie plot. President-elect dies shortly after election. Present POTUS says he will stay in office until your scenario elects a new POTUS. Dead pres=elect's supporters riot, get the military involved, and attempt a forceful takeover of the government. Who would you cast as #TRE45ON?

"Can trump fire Jack Smith if he is elected?

Possible but unlikely. Legal advisers would probably tell Trump not to do so, as they did during the Mueller crisis.

If Trump ignored their views, he could face an impeachment hearing in the Senate and some Republican Senators might vote against him.

However, Trump has been through two impeachment attempts before, including one after Mueller published his report. It's possible that Trump may try to ride out the storm and fire Jack Smith.

It's possible he may decide it's not worth it. As it stands now, one of his two federal cases has been dismissed. The one remaining case, the electoral fraud indictment in Washington, D.C, has been greatly neutered by the Supreme Court's July 1 ruling on presidential immunity.

In addition, the Justice Department has written instructions not to prosecute a sitting president. Trump would not face a trial until he had left office."

Great analysis, thanks for posting it.

There's only one logical choice if you're going for realism...
