Will Trump run as an independent if he doesn't got the GOP presidential nomination?

And if he does, can he win or will he split the right vote and give the election to the Dems to punish the reps who didn't support him?

I was listening to Liz Cheney on a talk show, she expects to lose primary, but she said it was worth it being on the Jan 6th committee and voting to convict Trump on his second impeachment trial?!! She also said, she will do everything she can to make sure Trump never gets back into the white-house again, to include running as an independent if Trump is the republican nominee for 2024?!! This would give traditional republicans another choice other than Trump?!! This could be applied to DeSantis too?!!
