I doubt that is the case, my guess is he was taking a lot of flak for not publicly acknowledging he had taken the vaccine and that he was not publicly telling people to get the vaccine and his advisors and or family convinced him to say something. Image is a top priority of trump.

At a presser this week, the Biden admin. said that he ought to be promoting the vaccine, and that the W.H would be supportive if he did.

He did bring in Navarro and Lighthizer who renegotiated NAFTA, and except the Wu-Flu would have gotten the same with China
