As with most gov't projects, the costs are grossly over inflated by the contractors.
But $196,000.00 is a pittance in the Atlanta budget.

On a personal note, I like the splash of color in the streets of Atlanta. But I am sure there are those on these forums who would prefer homosexuality be made illegal again, perhaps with some violence thrown in to keep those "queers and dykes" in their place.
BTW, the $196,000.00 spent is just 0.0065% of the city's $3.0 billion budget.

I was a teachers for a number of years. I have many, many friends who are still teaching or have retired from teaching. I never heard of a single one encouraging kids to be trans. They have their plates full getting kids to do the school work and act like decent human beings.
It is always nice to be able to blame someone for kids being gay or trans. But, in reality, it is the kid who decides, and no one else.
