I had to hide my hands while watching that one. lol
We get 8-10 foot logs brought in by one of our neighbors who logs for a living. Mr. Owl uses the chainsaw to cut them into lengths that will fit in the wood stove, then we take turns running them through the gas-powered splitter. It's still hard work, especially the lifting, but it's sure a hell of a lot easier than doing it that way! We've got four and a half cords out there to last the winter.
