Women vote vs. Men vote

The recent reports show 65.7% of women vote, 61.5% of men. As for why... who knows... work schedules more flexible due to the nature of employment differences? Which could also explain the difference in less educated vs. more educated to a degree. i would think it far easier for me to take time from work to vote than it would be for someone working construction.

Another possible reason is that there are more stay at home moms than stay at home dads? Again, making it easier to vote.

The other is the obvious... wedge issues targeting women.

in ca polls are open until 8pm, well after dark

Save me the war on women rhetoric. I'm not talking about just this election. It's been going on as long as I've been voting back to '96.

What does the League of Women voters have to do with it?

in addition to keeping track of all legislation and legislators, they pay close attention to legislation effecting women and who supports and who opposes it

The woman vote is significant in this election because only a stepford wife would vote for the party that pursues their oppression, and the war on women has never been as blatant and obvious in recent times as it is this year. Further, a greater percentage of women vote than men. In other words, Game Over for Romney. :)

I don't agree with that.

I don't agree with that.

I work in an entrepreneurial industry with many women who have right-leaning political beliefs. Of course on a national scale the number I know is infinitesimal but I know there are many other women like that out there.

There's nothing contrived about unnecessary ultrasounds designed solely to shame abortion-seekers. It's real. Google is your friend. Look it up.

Nothing contrived about the wage disparity that continues to this day. It's real. Google is your friend. Look it up.

Nothing contrived about the 'slut' meme regarding contraception. It's real. Google is your friend. Look it up.

I could go on, but I don't waste my time with closed minds.

Closed minds voted crackpots like this into office once and the game aint' over yet. Start watching at 2:20.

"It is no big surprise that we fight the terrorists because they are fundamentally un-American, and yet we have terrorists in our own culture called abortionists," Akin said in the Jan. 22, 2008, speech. "One of the good pieces of news why we are winning this war is because there are not enough heartless doctors being graduated from medical schools. There is a real shortage of abortionists.

"Who wants to be at the very bottom of the food chain of medical profession?" Akin continued. "And what sort of places do these bottom-of-the-food-chain doctors work in? Places that are really a pit. You find that along with the culture of death go all kinds of other law-breaking: not following good sanitary procedure, giving abortions to women who are not actually pregnant, cheating on taxes, all these kinds of things, misuse of anesthetics so that people die or almost die."

Around here the polls are open from 7AM until 8PM. I fail to see how anybody's schedule isn't accommodated.

And? It still doesn't alter what I stated. Besides, I gave other reasons as well. I was also just tossing out potential reasons... not saying it was a matter of fact that any one was a primary driver for the difference.

Afraid of a little education....don't want to see what you're killing....?.....if you've made up your mind to kill the kid, just do it...ultrasound of not...
I'll give you this much, it should not be forced on the women, it must be a voluntary decision....

Nothing contrived about the wage disparity that continues to this day. It's real. Google is your friend. Look it up.

Mostly bs....equal work means EQUAL WORK....not comparing the janitor's job to the receptionist's or the secretary to the garbage man.....
The female flag woman at one end of the construction site gets the same pay as the male flagman at the other end....EQUAL WORK = EQUAL PAY

Nothing contrived about the 'slut' meme regarding contraception. It's real. Google is your friend. Look it up.

Contraception is not medical care....pregnancy is not a disease...
If birth control pills are required for a medical condition and prescribed under a doctors orders, insurance should cover that

Southern tool you have a lot of class, but its all low!

Just calling it as I see it. It seems the entire focus in the left when it comes to women is their vagina as if the vagina is the only thing in womens minds. My wife is more pro life than me an thinks being a stay at home mom is the hardest and most important job a woman can do. She walked away from a 6 figure income to raise our children.

It is just hilarious to see libtards try to bucket all women into one mentality.
