In the past, societies had methods and means to make boys into men. Those have been systematically rooted out and destroyed by the Left in Western society as being anything from barbaric to violent and everything in between.

Men only activities barely exist today. Things like initiations are gone entirely or turned into meaningless parties. As physical labor is replaced by automation, that route is out for men, and the Left has pushed the narrative that college is a necessity and blue-collar, hands-on work is only for the menial simp who is too stupid for anything else.

Everything men did in the past is either being erased or pushed down as insulting and useless. The result is as boys grow up, they lack mentors, role models--something like 85% of all teachers k - 12 are women now and single parent home are common--and have no meaningful path to success in many cases.

The military used to be an outlet, but industrial mass warfare is over and done. The military is co ed now and if you aren't either an athlete or fairly smart, you aren't needed. Numbers are no longer the driving factor.
