I had a hard time choosing between Edwards and Larry Craig, both of which continued in their public lives while denying the scandal ever happened. I had to go with Edwards though, what he did to his wife is sick and his continued work in his campaign for the WH may have changed the face of the election. I wonder why you didn't include Gingrich though.

None of the above. My vote goes to Newt Gengrich for serving his wife divorce papers while she was recieving chemotherapy for breast cancer.

Yea, that's why I didn't vote. I had Newt as #1 and Edwards at #2.
 
I still think that parading your sick wife out on stage to show how much you love her while you're schtuping the film crew and having a love-child while she has stage 4 cancer is a bit more than just divorcing her. Edwards #1...
 
Where is Twanna Brawley? Barney Frank's boyfriend running a prostitution ring out of their apartment? And what about Al Gore???? Is THAT scandal too new or something?

al gore's hardly ranks even if it is true and tawana is not and was not a politician. They don't make the cut.

Uh Dixie, maybe you haven't heard but Gore is no longer in office and, last I heard, isn't running for office either.

1) the al gore case hasn't been proven and to call it 'practically rape' is premature - I personally don't believe it. I'd like to remind ppl that I was right about edwards' scandal when he denied it.

That's a pretty effing big oversight in my opinion. I'd say you need to add ALL of them, including your beloved Al Gore, who practically raped a woman.
 
I can't see how one is worse than the other. For the victims involved the betrayal, the pain, and the humiliation is likely equally felt. As to the actions of the perpetrator are they not all motivated equally by the same self-serving rationale?
